How ironic. You guys are such sheep that instead of voting with your wallet and not purchasing from TT you are such slaves to a film you'll buy something you think is overpriced again and again and complain about it every step of the way.

It's pretty stupid behavior and find that's true in people who aren't happy unless they're unhappy.

As has been pointed out many of their films are available on vudu for you to watch. So no it's not a crap answer. It's your crap attitude.

streaming is garbage and phyiscal media gives the consumer control

yoi do not understand basic things, when they are only game in town to buy those titles on phyiscal discs, the consumer has no choice

Here's something you don't understand: you don't like the price point for their product. But you buy it anyways and piss and moan. And the do it again, right? Boo hoo. Grow up and move on to a product who's price point you do like and find is good value. It really is that simple.

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.

Over the past three days, my Blu-rays of Swamp Water, Our Man Flint, In Like Flint, Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, All the King's Men, and Bonjour Tristesse have arrived in perfect condition. Cover Girl will probably be shipped this week.

Thanks, SAE!

Please guys, debating is encouraged but insults and foul language are not. Personally, I believe that SAE is having a hard time keeping up with the increased monthly output from TT. This is just my opinion. Most people that purchase movies get really impatient waiting for shipment, that is just the way it is .

The people in charge read this thread...have no doubts about that. I just recommend that members just post about the poor service related to shipping product to customers if that is your experience. Everyone can have whatever opinion they want, but it is obvious there are some problems...at least for many customers.

That being said, I have never had an issue with SAE and my movies have arrived promptly.

EDIT: posting statements like "SAE stinks" is really counterproductive . Best to state your situation and your displeasure if that is the case.

Also -- if you can play Region B disks -- Eureka! is releasing it in the UK later this year, and -- according to this site -- it will include the bonus features from the Carlotta disk, presumably with English subtitles.

Have details for an April promo been revealed? Jenny Agutter autographs?

Well if they're posting that we should wait 4-6 weeks before we even make an inquiry then people certainly have a right to complain about that. I'm not one of the lucky ones (none of my orders have shipped, although one includes a preorder so that won't ship until next month anyway), but I'm not in any big hurry to get them and I guess one could have seen this coming, given the sale and their known staff shortages.

No low warning email went out yet so it's more than 500.

Does anybody know why TT who appear to be from California use a small distribution company on the other side of the USA?

I'm sure that southern California would have plenty of companies to pick from.

For the past 3 orders that I have submitted to SAE I had to wait about 3 weeks to a month to get titles in hand that were "in stock". I happy to report that my latest shipment from SAE arrived in just over a week after the order was placed. That's more like it! I don't expect Amazon Prime speed but I do expect my order to arrive in a reasonable time frame, especially if it's in stock. Kudos SAE. I almost gave up on you..

I understand that SAE may be having some trouble keeping up with increased TT output and so orders may sit waiting for dispatch. I sent them a polite email asking why my order of 2 BDs was still listed as "pending" 6 days after I placed the order. The following day they sent my order. Six days is a long time to wait for an order to ship - it's almost as if they forgot about it . A short, polite email should be more than enough to get some answers most of the time.

My concern is their odd shipping methods for pre-orders. I ordered some new releases a few months back AFTER release date and got them much earlier than someone who pre-ordered at the first possible moment. To me, that is totally wrong. They really should ship orders based on when they receive them. Granted it was nice getting them on Thursday the week they came out but it irritated me to see people didn't get their pre-orders under 2 weeks later.

I pre-ordered Used Cars and Broadway Danny Rose as soon as they went up, that means I'll have them by Memorial Day

After my second order from them, and paying $36 for a blu ray in a regular case with flimsy liner notes from the same person, the same transfer as overseas no extras and a month long post-order wait time....I'm going to go out on a limb and say ill never buy from these people again. Buying their stuff makes me feel bad; used. Maybe it's just me. For the price of 3 of their blu rays you can go region free. They are not worth it both product wise or customer service wise. If they put out a film that is available nowhere else I will seriously wait it out at this point, no more of my money is going to this company. I refuse. That's my 2 cents and I'll stay out of the thread now!

I wonder how quickly The Blob (1988) will sell out this Fall?
