Hard Times is the original title. I don't see why they'd name it anything else.

It doesn't seem to me that Hintermann was suggesting that they should have given it the alternate title, just that he prefers the alternate title.

Actually it was originally to be called The Street Fighter, they changed the name to Hard Times because of the Sony Chiba film of the same name.

Hard Times is a fine title though...

Both films are awesome btw

Might not really be sold out.

Someone I know accidentally ordered 37 copies earlier today.

Huh? Didn't SAE put their usual one or two title per customer limit on this once it hit 200 or so remaining? Without that, the scalpers will descend like vultures on a dying zebra on a title close to selling out.

nope, they don't impose the limit on ones that take longer than a year to sell out. Enemy mine had no limit on it all the way through sell out

there's no REAL pattern behind (at least verifiable), but what I have noticed is....

titles that had a limit to begin with...ala christine, Rollerball Sinbads etc, will have a 1 per limit at the under 500 mark

titles that sell out in under a year, but had no initial limit, will have a limit of 3 (ish) after the 500 and under mark

titles that take OVER a year to sell out will not have a limit imposed all the way through sellout

They don't always put a limit on low-stock titles, especially if they've been available for a long while, like ENEMY MINE, etc.

Didn't someone accidentally buy maybe 100 copies of a fast-selling TT title a couple of years back? I definitely remember something like that, but can't recall which title it was. Maybe that's why they've mostly done away with the cart trick, so people don't leave a huge number in their cart just to see how many are left.

Good observations Worm...thus, someone purchased 37 by accident and is now, probably asking Ed for a cancelation?! I think something similar happened before .

Even when they do put limits on a title it's a soft limit and it has to be manually enforced.

I'm surprised it took this long to sellout, it makes a great double feature with Those Daring Young Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies.

Just received my shipping notice for Thunderbirds, Rollerball & my copy of the now OOP Magnificent Men... I love watching the tracking information as the package bounces around the United States then it gets to the point where it says it has left the country then there's about a week where it gets lost in some mysterious abyss until it turns up at my door.

Tried to get some info on "The Blob" from Nick Redman, in hopes that we get something other than simply only maybe a trailer and their always included isolated score track, unfortunately all he had to say was..

That's funny considering it was announced almost two years ago!

I'd say it has more to do with making sure everything is signed off on etc before they can offically announce any details. They could still be working on the details I'd bet.
