I just received the following. I also got the signed Brannigan and Thunderbirds but since I'm not sure I'm going to make them a permanent part of my collection I didn't include them in the picture...

I have been waiting too long to pick up Leave Her to Heaven. I'm glad other titles were released this month that I wanted pretty badly so I felt better about ordering it finally. I sure didn't want that one to sell out on me!

Thanks for sharing your recent purchase...still need to pick up Follow that Dream and Man Hunt but this next pre order and September pre orders should wipe my wallet clean...granted nothing sells out before then. Sure do miss the cart trick!

I'm the opposite, I pretty much expect every disc I buy to eventually be worthless - which is why I try very had to spend as little as possible.

The value is only a concern to me at times when I look to sell a movie I'm "done" with while trying to trim my collection. If I was smart, i'd probably sell more of my OOP titles, I've done it a few times on some of the more notoriously overvalued ones (Fright Night, Mysterious Island).

Looks like I didn't communicate my point across very well (which is not unusual for me). Never mind.

Ordered my copy of Man Hunt today. That keeps me up to date on all Fritz Lang Blu-ray releases until Hangmen Also Die releases next month.

I don't think they've ever said what the signed promo was going to be more than just a few days before it's available for ordering. Since the next promo offering is in late September (they're skipping this month), we'll most likely not hear what it will be until then.

As far as I know the next pre-order is Wednesday, August 20th, unless they changed it, if so, do you know why?

Sorry, I should've been clearer. I didn't mean that they were skipping the August pre-orders (for the September titles). I meant that they were skipping the signed promo offer this month.

I guess I've been so busy that I didn't know they were skipping the signed promo this month, thank you so much for the information. Have a great one!

Seriously, they are, quite literally, priceless. On the days when pre-orders are up for the next month's titles, they will offer signed copies (only one per customer while supplies last) for people who order $100 worth of Twilight Time product (not including shipping fees) from Screen Archives Entertainment.

The signed promo is free, but it's not automatically added to your order. You have to add it to your cart before check-out. The trouble is that you need to be quick about it. There are usually only 100-150 signed copies available, and they seem to typically run out within about 3 minutes of pre-orders going live.

A bit ago, totally from abstract interest, I went through all the replies in this thread looking for mentions of the signed promos, and made up a list. Here's what I came up with. If anyone knows of any others, please post.

The list has date (the pre-order date that the signed copies were available as promos), title, number of copies available, and who signed them.

2011 12 16 Fright Night 100 Tom Holland
2012 04 13 Journey to the Center of the Earth 100 Pat Boone
2013 03 08 Christine ??? Keith Gordon
2013 07 03 Hard Times 100 Walter Hill
2013 07 24 The Only Game in Town 100 George Stevens Jr
2013 08 21 The Disappearance 150 Stuart Cooper
2013 11 20 Mindwarp 160 Steve Barnett
2013 12 26 Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger 160 ? Patrick Wayne
2014 01 22 Royal Flash 120 Malcolm McDowell
2014 02 19 The Driver ??? Walter Hill
2014 03 19 The Front 150 Andrea Marcovicci
2014 04 23 Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia ??? Gordon Dawson
2014 05 21 Used Cars ??? Bob Gale
2014 06 18 Fate Is the Hunter 100 Nancy Kwan
2014 07 23 Brannigan ??? Judy Geeson
This is cool info and answers a lot of frequently asked questions in this thread. I wonder if the OP or a mod would want to add signed-promo info to the first post--perhaps using spoiler brackets for the bulk of it so that post doesn't get too cumbersome.

Here is my view on this and I hope it is respected, and does not lead to debates in which I do not plan to participate. I am always open to suggestions and will try to be as accommodating as I can to make the OP informative and the thread a better place where we can respectfully exchange opinions on movies released by Twilight Time. I am saying this because everyone has an opinion (and many members are more than willing to share and argue them in this forum, for better or worse). The OP is already pretty full and will only become more so in the months ahead. Twilight Time has stated they will be moving to even more releases per month in 2015, and we are already seeing that in November and December of this year. I keep the OP updated in a timely manner with upcoming releases, release dates, preorder dates, links to titles available, cover art, and titles that have sold out. I have rearranged things several times already to make it less cumbersome and to consolidate space. I think this is far better than the way it was before.

I have had multiple suggestions PM'd to me or posted here about adding things to the OP. LOL.....more work for me. I have accommodated several already, including rearranging the out-of-print titles so that they are ordered from newest to oldest. I have considered adding a low availability list, and may still do this; however, I see some big problems with doing it. For one, I can anticipate a lot of "suggestions" that I update the count regularly. That means having to keep track of the counts from TT's facebook page and the unreliable email alerts from SAE. I still might implement this, but will only do so in a way that is manageable for me; for example, listing the titles TT sometimes posts on their page as under 700 or under 500, but I will only list a "less than" number as of a certain date. Even then, some titles may still slip though unannounced. Recall that Steel Magnolias got a low count alert of less than 250 remaining out of nowhere, with no warning, and then was gone in two days.

Thank you for your suggestion. I disagree that a list of past promos and how many titles were available for each promo is a frequently asked question. It may appear that way to some, but I do not care to add yet another item I need to chase down and update as part of the OP. I can appreciate the efforts of the original poster who took the time to make that list. It is a long list already in the context of putting it into the OP, and will only get longer as new promos are announced. Again, it is a past list. None of these are available.

Thanks for understanding. Now...back to movies. Next up on my watch list for tonight is Fate is the Hunter.

(1) Thanks for the compliment.

(2) Given oildude's response, I'll make a point of editing/updating my list as I get new info. I've just edited my signature to include a link to the list, so I'll just edit the original posting instead of re-posting the list each time I update it.

If you can please write a little about it. I have never seen it and I am thinking it would be a good blind buy. Your reviews are usually quite useful to me in determining that.
