You can just do what I did and buy the German release. It's region free and only about $12-13 shipped from amazon.de.

Finally had a chance to flip through the French import of Left Hand of God. My advice is to just wait and see what TT may or may not put out. Good news is it's region free and no forced subs. Bad news is it's not much better than a DVD and clearly needs re-mastering. I don't have it on DVD, so it's okay but I wish I would have skipped it.

so it looks like TT is no longer as "limited" as they built their brand on before... *chuckle, I knew this was going to happen once they started increasing the runs with 5000 disc runs etc....

Now they become " not so limited" why couldn't they become that earlier?

Or you can buy it from members selling it in the trading section. There was one last week for 38 or 40 dollars. They aren't that rare.

Why don't you start setting aside money for a used Christine copy?

Seriously, you're repeating this tired old rant?

Can somebody create a kickstarter account or something so he can get his damn copy of Christine already and we don't have to read this anymore?

Journey to the Center of the Earth was awesome! Loved it! The special effects are really good. Well worth buying. I had seen it awhile back when I had DirecTV but the movie was half way in. Gorgeous transfer. The dialog between Lindenbrook and Carla is pretty fun.

It is a gorgeous looking movie. I bought the Blu and I had not seen it since I was a kid. It is well worth owning. I ordered Mysterious Island yesterday and it has shipped. I don't believe I've ever seen that one and seeing as it is based on a Jules Verne book it can be viewed as a sort of "spiritual counterpart" to Journey. Also, seeing as I have, and love, both the 2008 Journey to the Center of the Earth and Journey 2 The Mysterious Island it seems only fitting that I would have the oldie, but goldie classics as well side by side.

Now I'm thinking about buying First Men in the Moon and Mysterious Island. Need more adventure, action, fantasy/science fiction films!!! I'm just thinking whether I should buy them now or wait a bit.
