So it's ok to screw people over? I didn't know we had so many posters in here that worked for them. Also just for your information I don't order from them anymore. In fact if the few titles I have were re-released by the originating studio I would swap out in a heartbeat on principal alone.

Well I'm surprised it sold out, 5000 copies, & a lot of the people who bought the first (3000) issue, wouldn't have bothered to double-dip (& I bet more than a few haven't even got around to watching it yet!). I've loved this movie for over fifty years, so upgrading was a no-brainer for me, & it does look great. So that's Journey & The Egyptian that will never be lent out to friends

I think a lot of people double dipped, the PQ was a huge upgrade.

Twilight Time actually had a sale in December on many of their titles, so it's possible that because of that they are not doing an anniversary sale. The "last one by SAE" was a 20% off sale, but that was for anything sold by SAE not just TT product.

It's a lot more than 2 cents by this point. If you have an issue with Twilight Time and / or SAE, why don't you complain to THEM? And if you no longer order from them out of principle, why are you even on this board? Just to generate a lot of noise?

yes, I was talking about that December one.
That sale was ONLY at SAE, not on the TT site from what I remember, so that's why I said it was a SAE sale (on the TT blurays obviously)

I guess it's more so the mentality of buying TT bds only after they're about to sell out that I don't understand. I know they're on the expensive side but if you really want the movie why wait and take a chance it could sell out? I've been buying a lot of bds lately (as I'm sure most everyone else is with all the great announcements) but I prioritize the ones that are limited in number that I get first over the rest.

Same here, if it's limited and it's something I'm interested in, then I don't take chances.

TT never had a sale on the TT site. Only at SAE. So, the upcoming sale (if any) would most likely be the same.

That's because the site started only this summer.
The annual TT previous sales were before that.

I'm sure if TT had a sale in their products, they would have them both at SAE and their own site.

Is Chato's Land definitely the international cut? I know TT said it was a few months back, but seeing it rated PG on the back, I just wanted to be sure before ordering.

I think the international cut is 110 minutes and the US cut is 100 minutes. On TT's website, it says this version is 100 minutes. I remember that TT said this would be uncut, but their website info conflicts that. So I'm uncertain as well.

Yes, that's right. TT started their own site last summer.
Still, keep in mind that they have very small number of older titles in their own site, as compared to SAE who has all in-print titles. So, unless they take the stocks back from SAE, the future sales should be at SAE (maybe SAE & TT site will have the joint sale, but who knows?).

There's also the obvious fact that SAE has hinted at an upcoming sale, while TT says nothing.

It's a legitimate gripe if SAE isn't fulfilling orders in the order they were received especially since it's a limited item. Of course, we already know SAE has a history of not fulfilling orders in the order that they're received.
