I decided to squeeze a little more juice out of the Twilight Time sale, so I ordered...

I wanted to order The Eddy Duchin Story as well, but it was not listed anywhere on the website. I guess that I waited too late for that one. No big deal.

I was looking for The Eddy Duchin Story and Judgment at Nuremberg, and as you said, probably sold out of those titles. I'll probably get Judgment at Screen Archives since it's getting close to being sold out. I ended up with Birdman of Alcatraz and Inherit The Wind since I'm in the mood for a good drama with well written dialogue.

For mine, they put $5 for the value of each disc. Ordered four movies, no duty/tax.

Yeah I'm also just going to wait for the TT release. Whenever that will be but hopefully soon. In the mean time, I just bit the bullet on John Carpenter's Vampires. Right before the sale ends. Never seen it before so I hope it's good.

I'm thinking TT's first sale was a huge success. If I weren't so lazy I'd have jumped in for Summer Lovers, Born Free, and Strange Invaders. Something tells me all three will be around for the next sale.

After placing an order for Vampires earlier today, I just went back and placed another order for Strange Invaders. I knew I should have just ordered them together lol. Now I'm broke. But at least I was able to still get them for the sale prices.

Been a long time since I bought TT titles due to the terrible exchange rate in Canada. $19.99 makes these $25 a piece. Picked up:

The Happy Ending
The Story of Adele H
The Last Detail
Judgment at Nuremberg
Fat City
The Bride Wore Black

Also grabbed the new release of In The French Style for full price since I've been meaning to rewatch some Jean Seberg films lately and I couldn't wait for the next sale. I think it features one of her best performances and also the best she's ever looked. Love the new and alluring cover from TT. Much better than the theatrical poster.

Now here's hoping SAE has their sale in August so I can get Miss Sadie Thompson and Romeo is Bleeding for $19.99.

First Men in the Moon (from SAE; TT order was cancelled)
The Remains of the Day

Love and Death

Kind of relieved that it ended before I could place another order. I was contemplating A Month in the Country, Lenny, and/or Titus. I'm sure I'll get them at some point. (And now the Shakespeare Google doodle for his birthday today feels like it's taunting me for passing on Titus.)

First Men in the Moon is the only blind buy. It's a bit different from what I usually go for, but it looks fun, and when I saw Nigel Kneale was one of the scriptwriters, I decided to try it out.
