I would also recommend The Buddy Holly Story. Breaking Away and Fat City are both very good. As is Cowboy if you enjoy Westerns. Twilight Samurai is good as well, but if possible, I would track down the German 10th Anniversary release as it is encoded in the correct color space. The TT release is washed out with greyish blacks. |

Rapture is one of cinema's best kept secrets, and, as such, everyone I know who has seen it has raved about it. I love this Blu-ray, and I'm happy to join in the accolades. Fat City is a brilliant work of 1970s cinema, but be careful not to watch it if you're going through difficult times and/or are prone to malaise. After I first watched the Blu-ray, I joked in this thread about how I am amazed that moviegoers all made it through the 1970s without slashing their wrists. Summer Lovers and Cowboy are both sitting in my still-unwatched stack, so I will return with further details later on. |

All of the Woody Allen films they've released to date have been one-and-done, collect dust for me. Those 2 would get multiple viewings and much enjoyment here. Add them & Play It Again Sam to the already-released Sleeper and I'd be all set.

Good catch! I was unaware of that movie entirely. So the full list of Sony Hammer titles is:
Revenge of Frankenstein Creatures the World Forgot Die Die My Darling Curse of the Mummy's Tomb Scream of Fear The Gorgon Two Faces of Dr Jekyll The Pirates of Blood River The Devil-Ship Pirates The Stranglers of Bombay The Terror of the Tongs Stop Me Before I Kill Cash on Demand The Snorkel Maniac Never Take Candy from a Stranger These Are the Damned Sword of Sherwood Forest The Crimson Blade Given the kinds of films TT releases, I am afraid that the most likely candidates are probably the last two, but I guess we will see! |

And it's an exceptionally good transfer - I was genuinely surprised that Columbia went to the expense of remastering it, but they did an excellent job with it.
