For the love of God, let it go. True or not, it makes absolutely no difference.

The only thing worse than having to scroll past constant shopping cart updates every 10 minutes will be having to scroll through an endless string of useless replies to those equally useless shopping cart updates.

This happened in the original Fright Night thread and it went on for about 300+ pages. If people want to see how many copies they can add to their cart - let 'em, it's not hurting anyone.

It does make a pleasant change from people saying that Sony/Fox will release these movies again in 3 years so we are all mugs for paying these prices though.

Jeez, they should at least give you a quantity break of, like, $100,000 or so...

Personally not interested in the NOTLD remake. But I did order EM, S&F, and SM. I already have the earlier 17 blu-ray TT titles I want.

They authorize for the full amount immediately (a pending charge will be put on your card, lasting for a few days, so if your card is currently too close to the limit it would be rejected)... But you won't be truly charged until it ships. Or so has been my experience.

Thanks very much, I forgot exactly how it worked since I last picked up "As Good As It Gets". Thanks again!

It's the R-rated theatrical cut. I don't think the uncut version was ever released in the US on any format.

It's a shame that those gorier scenes (shown as extras on the DVD) didn't make it into the theatrical version.

Twilight time got me again. $65.20 later I decided to get both Enemy Mine and Night of the Living Dead. I'm not going to front but I'm watching NotLD during the daytime. It's a really good flick, just that zombies creep me the eff out. Y'all should've seen me in the theater watching 28 Days Later. Still, I'm super stoked to have the opportunity to watch both NotLD and EM in
my own home in HD no less. Luckily for me (and my wallet) TT isn't releasing anything I want till 2013.

Hi guys,

Just wanted some input from all of the TT supporters on how these are labeled into the database. TT labels these releases similarly to how Criterion or CJ Entertainment label their releases with a # on the spine but it seems to just be internal on their part, I see them labeled on the invoices and on the product page. On NOTLD's product page it is labeled as "TWILIGHT32-BR" and EM is "TWILIGHT31-BR".

If it OK with you guys I would like to number all of Twilight Times releases in our database here on BR.com.

Here are a few different ways we can label them, or if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

Night of The Living Dead (Limited Edition) (TWILIGHT 032)
Enemy Mine (Limited Edition) (TWILIGHT 031)

or-

Night of The Living Dead (Limited Edition) (TT 032)
Enemy Mine (Limited Edition) (TT 031)

I personally prefer the TT 0XX formula. Let me know guys and congrats to all who got their orders in of these 2 great releases.

Thus in a private message from TT in FB they say 1,500 copies sold, and the cart says 1,500 copies sold. It was pretty obvious that the cart results are accurate for this pre-order. Best customers know the truth so they can make informed buying decisions...and that is all I care about.

With regard to this "controversy" over the cart, and whether the numbers are accurate...we have never discussed this with SAE, but our feeling is as follows: for pre-orders only, we think the cart numbers are close to right...it stands to reason that in the pre-order phase a numerical count is essential in that it would be necessary to avoid the error of "over-selling" the amount...after the pre-order phase is over and the title is in general inventory, the numbers the cart displays become more speculative. If that is correct, then the figures shown for NOTLD can be taken as a reasonable guide to how the title is selling, up until the discs are ready to ship...

Also, with all the brouhaha around here about "scalpers," speculators, folk buying hundreds of copies to re-sell on ebay, etc. That is misinformation and generally untrue. While some people do buy an extra copy or two for resale it is hardly an epidemic...with the release of NOTLD and Enemy Mine, TT will have put 32 titles into circulation. If, as expected, NOTLD sells out fairly rapidly it will be only the fourth title to do so. And two of those four titles, Mysterious Island and Journey to the Center of the Earth took a significant time to exhaust their supply...MI, 9 months, and Journey, 3 months. With 28 titles still in print, and easily obtainable, TT's catalogue is hardly a speculator's paradise, and the number we have chosen to limit all our releases to, 3,000, has proven to be a reliable barometer for the eclectic and esoteric nature of our schedule. We appreciate all you guys hanging in for the ride...we don't know how long it will last, or exactly where we'll end up going with this "experiment," but we're enjoying it and we hope that at least some of you are getting a kick out of it too...

Best,

Nick Redman, Brian Jamieson, and Julie Kirgo.

Furthermore why is it so important about how many copies sold and how many are left ? Incomprehensible...who cares
