To answer the question above, Husbands and Wives has not been revealed or hinted at for a TT release. However, it is a Sony owned title, so it's certainly a possibility.

Sometimes when I want to avoid work, I waste time by making lists of my favorite films for a particular year. Today's time waster, since it's the year Heaven Knows Mr. Allison came out, is 1957, which was a good year. Twilight Time has released 5 movies from 1957, 4 of which are favorites.

My favorites from 1957, more or less in order....

Bridge on the River Kwai
Wild Strawberries
12 Angry Men
Heaven Knows Mr. Allison (TT)
The Tin Star
Witness for the Prosecution
3:10 to Yuma
Sweet Smell of Success
Peyton Place (TT)
An Affair to Remember
The Enemy Below
Funny Face
Silk Stockings
Old Yeller
Paths of Glory
The Seventh Seal
Pal Joey (TT)
Island in the Sun
The Wayward Bus (TT)
Raintree County
The Three Faces of Eve
Saint Joan
The Mysterians
Gunfight at the O.K. Corral
Desk Set

I still haven’t seen several notable movies from 1957, including Sayonara, The Curse of Frankenstein, Edge of the City, A Face in the Crowd, Fear Strikes Out, Forty Guns, The Joker is Wild, The Tall T, Time Limit, April Love (also TT), etc.

Anyone else care to share a list of their favorite movies of 1957?—as well as where the five Twilight Time movies rank on that list? Handy list here:

My favourite Allen. I don't think he's ever been better as an actor. Sleeper and Broadway Danny Rose would probably round out my Top 3, although there are quite a few of his films I've not seen - especially the later titles.

After waiting a month for Twilight Time to ship my order from June 8th I just cancelled it. I'm thinking that people are just keeping the duplicate orders. I will never order from them again and will stick to SAE from now on. Waiting a month for a pre-order or in stock item may be okay from time to time, but not already sold out discs. Especially when I see them start to multiply on eBay for flipper prices.

My friend...try to see 'Deconstructing Harry' too. Solid 90's era Woody Allen.

I understand the frustration, but you should have held out a little longer. I mailed back my copy of Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte last Thursday and the tracking shows it was received this Monday. And I mailed it back within a couple of days from receiving the return label. It will probably take them another week or so to get their act together and fulfill the outstanding orders.

Although...who knows how long it will take now that they pulled fulfillment duties from Technicolor.

I'm not going to put a ranked list but just some films that weren't mentioned here:

Men In War
Edge of the City
Throne of Blood

Take The Money and Run only gets a "C." You have lost me completely. And giving any movie an "A+" does not makes sense... if an "A" is perfect, how can something be even better than perfect? Does the volume on your stereo go up to "11"?

And To Rome with Love gets a "C" too? What are you smoking? To Rome with Love got a "D" in my book.

Don't forget the portmanteau film, New York Stories, either. Allen's Oedipus Wrecks is the best segment by far.

Me, I prefer the the middle ground, where he deftly juggles character drama and comedy, making movies that are either dramas with a thin veneer of comedy or comedies with a thin veneer of drama. I used to think that Annie Hall and Manhattan were his best, but I've found that I've watched them so many times, they don't have the impact on me that they used to have. I think he hit the height of his career in the 1980s with an unbroken run of excellent movies from Stardust Memories through Crimes and Misdemeanors, the latter currently being my favorite film of his.

The best film of his that he didn't direct was Play It Again, Sam, written by and starring WA, but directed by Herbert Ross.
Yeah, I love Play It Again, Sam. I would place it 4th best after the big 3.

I also really like What's Up, Tiger Lily, but in small doses. Never been able to watch it all the way thru at once, but there are some great laughs.

Eh, TT has released a good portion of his catalog, so it's a relevant discussion IMO. Would you prefer a few posts after pre-orders go up and the thread go mostly inactive for a few days?

No kidding. This is the most active the TT forum has been (aside from the barrage of posts about what people buy during sales) in ages. Nice to see some discussion about films here again.

The "+" is just a way to give honor students bonus points. It's just a big game... but there is no such a thing better than perfect score... and an "A" denotes a perfect score... meaning you got every answer right, which also means you got a 100% score. You can't score a 110%. You may need to explain this to your teachers.
