The new Quiller Memorandum restoration was recently screened at MoMA in NYC. I saw it and it looks wonderful.

Did they really bump up the price of some of those $7 titles to $10? They're not moving at $7.

I was hoping for the MGM sale or a 15x15. I'll be sitting this one out.

I was hoping for a 15x15 sale as well. I might pass on this as well since I already have most of these titles. There's still some decent deals such as Thunderbolt & Lightfoot and the Emma Thompson period films for 9.95, however, I already own them.

just for reference, most of these titles prices are a repeat of the BF sale- with the exception of these titles (bolded) which are now $2 more expensive- along with the absence of most of the rest (no Oscar connection). Let's Make Love was also $5 cheaper then.

In the past when I've ordered 1 or 2 items I've gotten a Bubble envelope. 3 or more always gets a box in my experience. I rarely have ordered less than 3 at a time and have not done so since they added the Media Mail option so it's possible they use boxes on smaller orders now as well.

At checkout there is a COMMENTS Box that I have used to request "Please ship in a Box instead of bubble envelope" that has always worked.

Just got done with my orders. I was expecting an MGM sale like last year, and hoping to spend about 140/150 euros on 11 titles, since I skipped the end-of-year sale, but I ended up getting only 5:

BOUND FOR GLORY
THUNDERBOLT AND LIGHTFOOT
THE HAWAIIANS
EXODUS
THE FORTUNE COOKIE

I got the first three for 9.95 since they were gone from TT's site and I worried about sell-outs. I didn't want to spend so much on the other two, but I wanted to get THE FORTUNE COOKIE as soon as possible. By the way, have Screen Archives' international shipping fees gone up? Did they announce anything?

I just ordered Peyton Place new from an Amazon seller for $15.90 and free shipping. Almost looked too good to be true. Hopefully it's not a bootleg or something. The seller had excellent feedback, so I'm not too worried.

I wouldn’t doubt that it’s a bootleg. “Peyton Place” has been reasonably priced secondhand for awhile now.
