And they confirmed to me on FB that In Like Flint will be coming on February 12th.
It's nice to see the added bonus features for Our Man Flint. Kind of unusual for TT (as far as I know).

OK.
I thought I read something with Sony and Fox. One provides subs, the other don't and vice versa. But I forgot which one is which and I don't know where the masters of the 2 movies will come from... that would have been a hint in the case I was right.

In general,

Sony = subs

Fox = no or maybe (I seem to recall reading here there was a Fox title or two with subs, but I could be wrong).

No, you're not imagining that oildude. To date, 3 Fox titles have confirmed English SDH captioning: Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines, Enemy Mine, and The Rains of Ranchipur. A 4th remains unconfirmed: on the SAE site it lists captions for Swamp Water, but on the case, no mention of them. I have another Blu in my PS3 right now so I can't spin up the disc to check. Anyone? Bueller?

Re: those January covers. I've been pining for Experiment in Terror for so many years now - I think I mentioned it in one of my earliest wish lists here. At this point, I think I'd take the damn thing in a ziploc baggy, so huzzahs for what we'll get...and especially that TT seems to be continuing their (IMO smart and classy) tradition of giving black and white films monochrome covers.

As for Our Man Flint, it's nice but kind of a let down...I'll have to see how it pairs up with the artwork for In Like Flint. But my first impression is...well...a bit too restrained. Considering the treatment this pair received on their first Fox DVDs...

...well, hardly a deal breaker. Maybe the insert has a little more 'exhuberant' 60s vibe.

Just a wild thought arcadeforest...I wonder how many folks will hold off ordering Our Man Flint so they can combine it with In Like Flint next month? This title could have a really weird sales pattern.

Always on a Friday at 4:00 pm EST around the middle of the month. Unless there's some delay, we should see it up on SAE next week (the 14th).

Default In Like Derek Flint

I sighed in relief that it's not a "live" photograph of James Coburn. It is a bit subdued, but at least it's a 60's charicature (like Flint!)

+1
All the extras from the DVD plus more (minus the weak TV movie and pilot), Thanks, TT!

Time to put the Ultimate Flint Collection on Bay-e-ay...

I don't like the Our Man Flint cover. Both Flint films are very colourful parodies from the swinging sixties, & a b/w cover doesn't look right. But who cares about covers, the disc is the thing. I saw some of both the Flint films on Sky Movies HD, & I remember them looking a bit too cool for my liking, I think they should look nice & lush & colourful, so I'll read some reviews & hopfully see some caps before I buy, & then only In Like Flint, it's so daft I just love it. I have an original US poster on my wall, & the music is my favorite Jerry Goldsmith film score.

Experiment in Terror is from Sony, so it will definitely have subtitles. The Flint movies are from Fox, though they should have subtitles as well (since they were previously released on DVD with them).

I think Twilight Time said they were going to try and include subtitles with all Fox titles from now on, though it's possible a few here and there won't have them. (Most likely titles that never had DVD releases before.)

Goldsmith added a lot to these movies. What would the following chase sequence in Our Man Flint have been like without that music:
Together with Mancini's classic work for Experiment in Terror, January is turning out to be a great month for TT ISTs!

I thought by now I would've gotten a shipping confirmation for Blue Lagoon. My memory is a bit hazy but I think I received my copy of NOTLD (or was it Enemy Mine...hmmm) a couple of days before the official street date. Maybe I'm confusing receipt of package with getting an email but, bottom line, something should have occurred by now. Oh well.

No.

There's no reason to think that anything should have occurred by now.

Some TT titles have shipped before the official release date.

Some TT titles have shipped on the official release date.

Some TT titles have shipped a week after the official release date (PAL JOEY was at least a week late).

There is no reason to think that ANYTHING should occur six days before the release date.
