Don't tell me that you also bought both TT editions of Mysterious Island, and then bought the Indicator one.

The only value they have for the next month and a half would be for titles that disappear from TTM.

Over a longer term, yes. What I meant is that until TTM closes up shop or runs out of stock (hence the "next month and a half") SAE's "value" lies only in having titles that have sold out at TTM (like Geronimo or Anne of the Thousand Days or whatever). Any title still at TTM is going to be cheaper. Unless one is willing to spend the extra to just order one big batch instead of dividing between two vendors.

Once they stick a fork in TTM, SAE will then be king of the mountain.

Thinking of ordering Rapid Fire from SAE. I’m in the UK. Does anyone know if I’m likely to get hit with a customs charge? Thanks in advance.

Here's a list of the Fox titles that Twilight Time has released. It's up to you to check Twilight Time Movies and Screen Archives Entertainment to see what's still available.

TT never really was "going for profit". They were happy making enough money to keep licensing more titles. But now, they're probably trying to cut their losses. Selling whatever to whomever has the coin is their best bet to pay any outstanding bills.

You shouldn't if you're only buying one title, you will be well under the £15 threshold, however, expect the shipping to be high. If you buy multiple titles you will be saving on shipping but there's always a risk you all get hit with customs - just the luck of the draw.

Very obscure and vintage titles have sold out too fast. It can't be just regular customers. It's probably eBay speculators building their stock of future rare products. In the next 5 years or so, we'll only be able to find many TT titles in eBay for ridiculously inflated prices.
At this point, it’s a liquidation sale and they just want to sell it as quick as they can. That’s just the way it is now.

Plus most things that sold out at TT in the past few days are still at SAE with slightly higher prices.

Yup. Agreed.

But I must say, it has to be re-sellers. I was shocked by which titles sold quickly, like Black Widow (1954)—luckily, I got my copy. I'd have been disappointed had I not— which seemed to have very little interest from people before the sale, even at the 14.95 price point.

I might hold off from SAE. I’m betting they’ll have plenty of the remaining stock while TT will sell out. Then they’ll have those regular sales they had. The buy 10 for $115 is what made it not as painful to spend.

None of the titles that sold out here in the last 2 days are going to be going for $100 on eBay.

That's how I feel about Fred Zinnemann's Julia, which is also priced at $6.95. It was nominated for 11 Oscars and won two, including Supporting Awards for Vanessa Redgrave and Jason Robards Jr; Jane Fonda and Redgrave both won Golden Globe Awards; Fonda won the BAFTA for Best Actress; and it introduced movie-goers to a then-unknown actress named Meryl Streep, who made an indelible impression in a brief role that included two brief scenes, both of which she stole right out from under Jane Fonda's nose. I've kept an ever-evolving list of my top 100 favorites for over 35 years now. This is one of the first films I added, and it's still there. If you've never seen it, you have a real treat in store.

That's not necessarily true. For instance copies of At Close Range have sold for as much as $129.44 in the last few months. Maybe not tomorrow, but in a few months from now...

Do you have a PayPal Credit account? If you do, and assemble an order for $100 or more, you'll get six months to pay it off, interest free. Can't beat that!

A lot of titles are selling out at TT no doubt... but I believe SAE has always had considerably more copies in comparison. I can see a flash sale with at least similar pricing popping up there before too long.
