Then again...some numbers do seem to be in flux, as evidenced by this thread...they had an unprecedented boom of orders in a short period!

A number of titles disappeared then reappeared on the TT site. I suspect they had returns or cancellations. Alexander The Great was one of them.

Did you notice that they didn't have the "Add to cart" button though? I think it's just an unforeseen issue on the listings and they aren't really back in stock at all?

Julie Andrews' Star! also got the same treatment.
Say what you will but when these fabulous titles started to come out in the early 00s in those lush artworks and with speacial features (except the boring themed Studio Classic covers), with Star! and that trainwreck of Myra Breckinridge for example, I was in heaven. I snatched up quite a few rare titles, always knowing they wouldn't stay in print for long.

Hi folks -- I've been reading about everyone's TT orders and faves here with great interest. Just wanted to say, in case this is helpful to anyone: the first of my orders was placed on the evening of 5/10 (in the #720XX range) and since then, like the other orders I placed in the days to come, its current status is "awaiting shipment"; so far, I haven't gotten any emails saying any titles have been dropped (such as Prayer For The Dying, which is in my first order) so -- crossing my fingers!!! I think I went a little hog wild but so did we all from what I can tell! Looking forward to adding all these TT discs to my collection, and I hope all of you get what you ordered

Just got both of my orders (TT-5/10, SAE-5/12) today. Most of the titles in the TT order are now out of stock on TT so that shouldn't be a worry for those of you still waiting.

As long as our orders are "Awaiting fulfillment" they can still have trouble finding titles in the inventory so it's little consolation until they are actually shipped.

Oh, so if I have orders on "Awaiting Shipment" then the titles will be safe then?

The last couple have lasted less than an hour after dropping below 50.

I was probably going to place another order in a few weeks, but with all the uncertainty about stock and whether items will ship or not, I'm likely going to import the remaining Fox titles I want which TBH the earlier three titles were really the only ones left that were must haves for me. I will deeply miss TT for taking chances on many films that never would've seen the light of day on home video if not for them. All in all, IMO, Twilight Time, was a net positive for the home video market even though I don't own hundreds of their titles but then I didn't discover the label until 2017.

All I learned in the last 8 days is nothing means anything in regards to this sale. Good news is my SAE order on 5/13 shipped today.

This is why I went for what I went for in my final haul (I swear) today, rather than wait. Kind of surprised Cutter's Way didn't disappear sooner from SAE, considering all the buzz here recently.

Is there any way on the website to follow that?

The below 50 mark is the only std I can find on the website and as soon as that number is reached, either the stragglers jump on it or the resellers snathc them all since I;ve seen all 50 gone in minutes as soon as the switch changes. It seems as long as it above 50 based on your posts, things will linger for wks or months it feels. There are some items that SAE has listed as LOW QUANTITY for years. You mentioned a FB group that posted more low stock specifics, but I've never been able to find those -- of course I can't navigate FB to save my life other than finding the Opening Page, then I'm lost.

Cowboy yesterday went from 49 to 0 in 15-20 minutes since I was online watching it. It was the last of the 3 items listed VERY LOW stock in the SAE email last week.

This Dvd...
is one of my prized possessions with all the extras and both versions of the film. I have been waiting for a blu of this for awhile. Now the only way I can see it happening is maybe through Criterion but I am sure not keeping my hopes up. I think this may be as good as it gets for fans of the film...

My initial 4-disc TT order (#762xx, 5/11) still hasn't shipped; but my later single-disc TT orders (#762xx, 5/11, about 30 minutes later; #774xx, 5/13) both shipped today, as well as my two-disc SAE order from 5/13.

So much for first come...

I have multiple TT orders placed on 5/10 that haven't shipped yet. (I was ordering in smaller orders since I was worried about things going out of stock while I was deciding and in the process of ordering.)

Glad to hear that some people are getting their orders though.

Yeah I don't begrudge anybody getting their stuff, but it's a bit confusing to hear that orders placed after mine are shipping; in the end though if everyone gets everything they want then it'll hardly matter.
