Very nice. I'm sure that goes for The Fury too then. Awesome!

Perhaps you're unaware of the two-fer from Varese Sarabande that included the OSTs of both Flint films on one CD.

I don't know about when it will be in Australia especially since they said nothing about it.

Yes it shows The Fury too.

It's 4pm EST. EST is UTC-05:00. Brisbane is UTC+10:00. So 7a.m. on the 16th in Brisbane? Is that right?

I hope the Christine bluray comes with the commentary by John Carpenter and Keith Gordon. It was a fun listen but then again Carpenter's usually are. If it also has an isolated score from Carpenter and a trailer, as long as the transfer is good, I'll be a happy man. The Fury I really don't remember much about it. I've seen it several times but it's been almost 20 years or so. I'm not sure if I'll order that but I'm definitely game for Christine.

I've had it for years (big Goldsmith fan), but it's not complete, at least with OUR MAN FLINT. Anyway, on the Blu-ray, the isolated score really sounds great.

So I don't know if any other regular in this thread ordered Lost Horizon beside me but I just finish watching the Blu-ray, very happy with what was done. I won't talk about the movie as it's been bash enough already but it's one of the best Twillight release I got so far.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed Lost Horizon '73 more than I thought I would P@t, despite some reservations. At this more complete length with overall solid AQ and PQ specs, it worked much better than my only previous viewing many years ago.

One of Twilight Time's DVD only titles, Violent Saturday, will be getting a Blu-ray release in France on April 3rd:

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=10251

A title I've wanted for a while but have been put off by the non-anamorphic nature of the TT release. I wonder where the materials Carlotta are using for the BD release have come from? TT said they used the best elements available, but it's a big leap from some ancient non-anamorphic transfer and one that is suitable for BD. Maybe it's from a EU element Fox US never had access to.

I got the French BD releases of BANDOLERO! and VON RYAN'S EXPRESS and they seem to be transfers direct from Fox. BANDOLERO! looks excellent and VON RYAN'S EXPRESS, while not having elements as pristine as BANDOLERO!, is exactly the same transfer and extras as what was eventually released here.
Both can be viewed without subtitles too.

Glad you enjoyed it, I really do think that it receive too much bad talk. It's not a perfect movie but it's also not the train wreck so many make it out to be
