That one certainly sounds different than some of these other Sold Out items that pop up with 1 or 2 copies usually for whatever full price was.

I know Dundee went OOS during mid-Nov 2016 sale so it's possible it was sold out for a few days or a couple weeks and some copies were reclaimed from a presumed scalper so put back at the 14.95 sale price -- that would make the most sense why an OOP item would be listed at such a steep discount. I know early on that SAE would often cancel sales for 15-25 copies of a single title in one order especially when it was getting low in stock.
Nov. 28, 2016 $19.95
That is very close to the date you say it sold out, but I remember being surprised to see it show up thinking it had sold out.

My order of 12 titles from 5/10 (732xxx) now includes 7 sold out titles. I'm seriously considering just ordering them all from SAE.

They may be sold out but they should still be in your order. Just food for thought.

Yeah, the key word there is "should." They still show in my order but I'm wondering what will happen when they get around to processing it.

That's interesting, as I found it on my order November 16, 2016, and only paid $8.95.

I'm in a similar situation. I placed an order for 33 titles on the the 10th, and several/most have gone out of stock. But I haven't received any notifications that my order has been modified, or any refunds (at least for that particular order), so I've adopted a wait and see attitude ... I don't want to order them again from SAE and then be stuck with two copies.

I didn't know it had gone that low, but remember reading it was OOP, then it showed up at SAE for $19.95. So if the Nov. 2016 sale had it at $8.95, that leads me to believe I got mine after the sale with a return/found stock/cancelation.
It all evens out, or gains, in my case with TT titles since by then I had sold my Christine copy for $142.

I can still see La Bamola Di Satan on the TT website. I found by searching 1960s.

PS I just realised its there but you cannot order it. Apologies

I don't think my question was asked before: if you have an unfulfilled order and you get a notification that a title is sold out and you get a partial refund, does it mean that's it or are there still chances you get additional emails about more titles being sold out within the same order?

This. I'm sure I could unload the extra copies on eBay for cost, but that's a hassle I'd rather avoid now, when even going to the Post Office carries its own risks.

This made me curious to look up my own Major Dundee buying history. I was surprised to find out that I bought it on June 4, 2014 from TCM Shop for $27.96. Hmmm ... trying to remember the circumstances around that buy.

Which, of course, doesn't come close to being as ridiculous as the complaints about the complaints about the complaints.

And yeah, I uh. I also picked up the RAD Ltd. Edition because RAD. lol

This is what I'm doing as well, taking a wait and see approach. I ordered 7 titles in the sale and 2 are no longer in stock. I didn't receive any emails about my order being modified either so hopefully we'll get our titles. There's already a few sold out on TT that I want to pick up at SAE, but I'll wait to order in case something doesn't come through on my initial TT order and then order it all at once. At least I'm hoping I can then get them at SAE at that point. We'll see.

Yeah, the 4 items I picked up on the Monday morning after the announcement (Melvin and Howard, Harry and Walter Go to New York, Hilda Crane, and Morituri) are the ones I really really want, and would be bummed if I got a cancellation on any.

Less so the impulse 10 for 115 that I placed that Tuesday night---though, most of those are Fox titles so I ordered them for a reason. But I wouldn't be quite as bummed if any of them got the boot from the order.
