jayembee, I am so sorry to have scared you, my friend. After I first wrote my post, I realized that Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn was cut from a later order that I placed on 05/14, not my first order placed on 05/10. I noted the correct information in the notes on my outstanding orders, but forget to edit that first paragraph before I hit send. If you haven't received a cancellation notice at this late date, I'm sure that you're fine. My most fervent apologies! Please forgive me.

Just watched these yesterday. Tony Rome holds up really well and is a keeper but Lady in Cement is a big step down - even at 17 minutes shorter it feels longer, the different writers really stick out with the more heavy handed touch and less assured tone and it feels too much like a contractual obligation. But it's worth grabbing while you can for the first film.

I must say I'm shocked that both aren't sold out, but for Tony Rome to sit there at 11 copies for 9 hrs is just mind boggling the way items usually go at SAE. Far worse movies have sold far great copies in minutes, much less hrs.

Good question. They aren't offering titles at the same prices as TTM, but are still offering them at the same prices as the March/April sale.

The TTM sale ends at (presumably) midnight on June 30/July 1. At that point, SAE acquires whatever stock remains (if any) at TTM. So far, there's no word on whether SAE will keep the prices as is, or will go back to "normal".

At the current rate of sales -- I'd guess 15000 units of 30-35 titles assuming all they get are the TT discs and not the other stock the TTM sells.

It's possible they may have an end of the month blowout (doubt it if SAE has already spoken for the leftovers) or if they pump up the prices a bit more with some extra promo codes or something like 5% off $100 or $150 orders.

We continue to make progress with our shipping backlog. We have now shipped nearly 60% of the orders received since our sale started on May 10th. Up until late last week, our warehouse was shipping orders in the most efficient way possible to clear the backlog. They are now focusing solely on the earliest orders placed that haven't shipped and will continue to do so until we get caught up. Our warehouse is working 7 days a week to get your order out.

A lot of you have asked if you will receive everything you ordered. Unless you have been contacted by our support team and told otherwise, all the products you ordered are allocated to your order and it will ship complete as soon as possible.. Product is assigned to incoming orders in the order they arrive in our warehouse, not the order they are shipped, so even though products may appear sold out, if they are part of your order and you haven't been specifically contacted by us and told otherwise, that product is on the shelf waiting to be packed and shipped to you.

I'd been thinking about it for days, after reading reports here, but seeing it confirmed annoyed me more. Not shipping first come first serve is just wrong IMO. I asked to cancel my orders.
