I thought at first they might have combined them since all three of them shipped on the same day apparently, but each one has its own unique tracking number so...I guess not...?

I hope not, anyway, for obvious reasons

I'd be demanding a partial refund if they ended up combining shipping.

This also goes against their claim they are processing orders sequentially. Could you imagine the uproar if one of your later orders got titles that then went OOS for someone next in line?

They are not claiming that they are processing orders sequentially.

In one of their newsletters they explained that due to the coronavirus restrictions placed on their workers by the state, the warehouse had to improvise a way to get through the huge amount of bulk by starting with smaller orders and those that were easier to fill. That meant going out of sequence. No, it's not normal. No, it should not have been done that way however these apparently were very unusual circumstances for them.

I'm right at the 6 week mark on a 4 title order, so that doesn't match the small orders first claim. I've gotten just one personal update (weeks ago) from them about my order (with order # link) and the latest generic shipping delay email.
Beyond ridiculous. I stand by my one or two person shipping dept. comment.

To be honest I thought I read and understood that TT were now shipping titles in the order they were placed.
I have had no notification that my 12th May has shipped and I also note that some of the "new" titles to sell out were ones I ordered (e.g. Broken Lance).
Until I know what is coming to me of the 31 titles I ordered, it is becoming a somewhat stressful wait. Especially if I have lost out on titles to buyers who placed an order after me. I am happy to lose out to orders placed before mine - that's only fair. But after my order was placed - that's just plain wrong. But we will see - they can't be much longer posting these orders - surely????

I read over on Home Theater Forum that they are working this week on orders placed May 11th. That would mean they are getting close to yours.

Up until late last week, our warehouse was shipping orders in the most efficient way possible to clear the backlog. They are now focusing solely on the earliest orders placed that haven't shipped and will continue to do so until we get caught up. Our warehouse is working 7 days a week to get your order out.

A lot of you have asked if you will receive everything you ordered. Unless you have been contacted by our support team and told otherwise, all the products you ordered are allocated to your order and it will ship complete as soon as possible.. Product is assigned to incoming orders in the order they arrive in our warehouse, not the order they are shipped
That really sounds like maybe they weren't sequential before, but since 6/4 they should be.

Are you receiving their newsletters?

They have explained that if you ordered a title that is now sold out, the title is still secured to your order.

That's my understanding too. They started out of order to cut down on bulk in the best way they could. Then they went back and started in order and have been moving forward ever since.

6 weeks and they're only up to May 11th orders? While I'm happy to hear it since that was my order date, if you didn't order until, say, the the last week of May, you may not get your order before Christmas.

It has been said that they received 7,000 orders in their first day of the sale, May 10th. I think they said that's a month's worth of orders in a single day.

However, you figure the most orders were placed on the first two days of the sale. Once they dig out of that, they can essentially fill orders as they used to.

That means a day's worth of orders would be filled per day once they get past the hump. As the daily orders decrease (which I imagine they should), they will be filling several day's worth of orders in a single day.

So, while you were joking about Christmas I suspect they will be caught up in another two weeks or so.

Agree completely with the combined shipping thing. No reason to combine them and I hope they don't.

There's no way to know for sure exactly what they were/are doing re: the order of fulfilling and shipping orders so all I can do is hope and believe that I'm not getting anything that by all rights should be going to someone else. Not all the titles I ordered have yet gone OOS though and those that did took a while to do that after I ordered (and my last order was 5/21, still a loooooong time ago at this point) but I mean hey if this is all just a random crapshoot then I guess my chances of getting what I asked for were as good as anyone's. Or maybe there's some method to the madness. Or maybe not. Who knows. As always I sincerely hope everyone gets everything they ordered in a timely fashion.

Yes I have received their email updates.
Still secured - I am hoping this holds true. Here's hoping. Until I receive the order or advice as to what is in it, of course I won't know.

Closer to a 6-8 months worth of orders the the first 36 hrs. I think they've officially been in business almost exactly 60 months

Started Sunday a little over Order #70000, I think someone listed a Monday order in the 76000 range and a mid June order just under 80000.

Other than some cancellations for the mislabelled box of Alexander the Great, I can only remember postings of 1 or 2 additional refunded items in the last 4 weeks. Almost all those oversold items (less than 40 documented items) happened on orders on Sun/Mond and were refunded within the first 10 days. Not everybody whose had an order shipped has mentioned their numbers, but I think we're probably close the 5-10K unit sold to members of the 3 or 4 biggest TT forums on the internet.

A 0.5-1% error rate doesn't sound terrible though certainly still unfortunate even accounting for the sudden 25000% rise in orders. I still wonder if TT corporate surprised the warehouse with the Clearance SALE starting on a Sunday with zero prep time. It still feels odd that they announced an Updated 10/115 sale just hours before jumping into the Full Clearance Sale. It almost had the feel that possibly had planned the Clearance starting 5/17 or even 6/1 and suddenly changed their mind

Just for a bit of info for anyone interested, my May 12th order was numbered 771**.
Gives an idea of what was ordered right in the first 3 days and subsequent to that period.

Given the enormous amount of work the warehouse has to go through to pick, package, and ship thousands of orders, why would anyone in their right mind think they'd add to that workload by trying to coordinate the combining of orders?

Can we sum up the order numbers and the ship confirmations, my hunch is once they're done they will prepare that famous email about The Egyptian back in stock.

Not exaclty a great way to end the legacy after giving the company thousands of dollars in sales from my wallet.

Hopefully some of that impression will fade as I'm left with a number of gems I never would have seen in decent bit rate HD with lossless audio.

And though most didn't come in this recent batch, I have to give some thanks to bringing more Gene Tierney, Rita Hayworth, Joan Fontaine, Olivia DeHavaland, Audrey Hepburn into my home in HD.
Nevermind, had case damages.
