At $30 + crazy shipping you might be just as well off going 2nd hand.

Didn't someone say they grabbed a copy for about $50?

My shipping from TT was over $20 on my order.

That is highly unusual. Every once in a while, I look for a copy with all of the usual suspects, and they tend to be in the $300 range. I think the lowest I've ever seen a copy going for was $120 or thereabouts.

I'd image that is a rare find as well.

However sold ebay listings show one sold for $80 with shipping recently

Another with a best offer accpted, so no idea on that one.

I've never seen one actually sell above about $180, as you can get a new one for less than that. Which of course heightens the rarity being un-opened for about 7 years or so.

Just received my order of 13 titles ordered on 5/11/2020 (Order No. 7518x).

Shipped via FedEx 2 Day Express. I did not receive a shipping notice before receiving my package. Hope this gives those waiting some more hope!

On a different note, I'm realizing that this is the last Twilight Time order that I will ever receive!

Received my order today (#748xx), placed the morning of 5/11 and shipped 6/18.

20 of 21 titles were included. The one that was removed (My Cousin Rachel) had been identified and refunded back on 5/23, so I was able to obtain it from SAE for a few dollars more.

Everything else shipped as promised, despite the fact that 14 of the 20 titles showed as "no longer available" by the time my order shipped. At least for me, TT came through as promised with the allocated stock. Unfortunately, I panicked and bought 5 others from SAE when I received my first refund, so I'll have a few duplicates to unload.

There are about a half-dozen more titles that I might still want to pick up, but I'm probably going to wait to see what happens after June 30. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Why does everyone keep blabbering about order numbers? I placed 2 orders on May 12th. One at 10pm (15 titles) and one at 11pm (3 titles). I received the 3 title order on May 30th. I still have not gotten a shipping notice on the 15 title order. Obviously order numbers don't mean anything.

If you have been reading comments in this thread it has been said several times that orders will filled out of sequence in the first few weeks due to warehouse coronavirus restrictions and the need to get orders out faster to reduce bulk.

It wasn't until the beginning of this month that TT went back and started filling orders sequentially which is what they appear to be doing now.

I got my order from the 10th, BTW!

Because that’s the life cycle of a thread when the ongoing topic is a sale and everyone is waiting for their orders to arrive - and order numbers in particular as described above - people’s concerns due to the very long shipping delays, and curiosity about the total number of orders. If you want to get back to discussing the movies and are annoyed by the rest, I’d suggest check out the individual threads for each title (where they exist), or come back in a month or so once the shipping process should be complete.

Latest Shipping Update email (I get these, but not the newsletters):

Quote:
Below is a shipping status update for your Twilight Time Movies order number #

We appreciate your patience while we continue to work through our shipping backlog. It really means a lot to us, especially for those of you who placed orders the first week of the sale and are still wondering where they are. Our warehouse is working 7 days a week to get your order out. We continue to ship the earliest orders received and have been making progress. With the exception of seven orders, we have finished shipping all the orders received on the 10th and are well on our way to have all orders placed on the 11th shipped this week. Here is our current estimated shipping schedule. Please note this is just an estimate and the actual date your order will ship may vary by a few days

Order date Estimated Ship Date
5/11 By 6/26
5/12-5/14 By 7/1
5/15-5/18 By 7/2
5/19-5/25 By 7/5
5/26-5/30 By 7/6
5/31-6/4 By 7/7
6/5-6/8 By 7/8
6/9-6/14 By 7/9
6/15-6/17 By 7/10
6/18-6/22 By 7/12

A lot of you have asked if you will receive everything you ordered. Unless you have been contacted by our support team and told otherwise, all the products you ordered are allocated to your order and it will ship complete as soon as possible.. Product is assigned to incoming orders in the order they arrive in our warehouse, not the order they are shipped, so even though products may appear sold out, if they are part of your order and you haven't been specifically contacted by us and told otherwise, that product is on the shelf waiting to be packed and shipped to you.

I just got one of these too, and it is part of the newsletters you should have been receiving. They included the past newsletter they have sent within it.

I can only assume that those without pending orders (i.e. shipped) the emails are not being sent to them anymore.
I do hope that at least once they list the newly-found old stock everyone will get that email.
I am surprised however that they are that advanced (what with being so busy with the high number of unprocessed orders) to filter out clients' emails that have no pending orders.

The point is, order numbers literally have NOTHING to do with anything. I just proved that (along with like a 100 other people in this thread) by saying I received an order over 3 weeks ago that I placed AFTER my initial order that still hasn't shipped.

There have been posts in the previous pages discussing why this is happening. But if you are not interested in these posts then why not just ignore them? You know that TT is a dead label now, so the only topic being discussed until all their stock is sold, is very likely this one. If you choose to enter here do so knowing this is a big topic being discussed?

Finally, having placed an order for 11 items at 07:40 on Monday 11th May my package was handed to me today in the UK.

After shipping and customs charges I paid £15.06 for each title. About the average cost of a new blu-ray here in the UK - so no bargain for me but very glad to finally own these titles.

Order numbers have to do with numbers of orders, so you are wrong, they do have to do with something.

Semantics. It has nothing to do with when your order will ship.

Just received a text from FedEx that my May 12th order is due here in UK on Friday.
Very good service.
No notification that anything is missing, so here's hoping that all are there. Particularly titles which have sold out like My Sister Eileen and Broken Lance.
I want all the titles if possible, but those that are unlikely to be released in the future (Fox titles maybe), well I am more keen.

Moot point now, but I think it’s finally very obvious that SAE > TT.

Um, what? Because SAE is a distributor representing many different labels instead of a single label that actually creates new product? Because SAE didn’t have a closing out sale with reduced prices? Because SAE weren’t inundated by unprecedented order volumes due to said sale?

It’s like saying that a produce store is better than a farmer. It simply makes no sense.
