The TT site is a complete disaster and a great big black eye on the label. They should've just stuck with only SAE.

Yeah, because if the TT site weren't around this surely wouldn't have happened at SAE. Normal people are minimally inconvenienced by the shipping delays and are happy to have the movies when they come. I mean I wouldn't exactly call me normal but that's how I feel.

Handman was obviously just making a joke, because Twilight Time is out of business forever within the next several days....

EDIT: I apologize. I now see the sarcasm in Handman's post. However, I am merely replying to the other complaints about TT and their ability to deliver a product in a timely manner...

A going out of business sale that garnered 7,000 orders in one day and several less thousand on the following days, I am certain.

Not the norm for any online store.

Then tack on coronavirus restrictions imposed to them which didn't allow them to bring on extra help and due to the social distancing that was mandated they had to improvise on how to fill orders to get out from under the bulk.

And you guys call that a black eye on the company?

While I waited for my order for weeks on end I was updated nearly every week with a newsletter informing me of their progress. At least the company kept in touch with their customers. The last newsletter I saw the other day even gave customers estimated arrival dates.

This isn't friggin' medicine they are delivering to you. These are Blu-rays for God's sake! It's a going-out-of-business sale that is certainly going to create a huge demand in a very unfortunate moment within our lifetime where business practices are compromised by a virus.

And you know what? Most of you complaining are only going to get those discs, put them in a pile, and watch them weeks down the road.

Pretty sure Handman's post was done in jest. But your point is still true. I would even go further in saying that anyone complaining about a company that will be out of existence in a week must have a pretty awesome life if that's all they have to worry about.

I was sure I was done ordering from Twilight Time, but I decided to pick up two more titles today.

[Show spoiler]

I'm a big Jimmy Stewart fan, so I figured I should get Bandolero for no other reason than that. I'm not the biggest Betty Grable fan, but Fox Technicolor with those lavish production numbers, not to mention Martha Raye and Joe E. Brown, I'm in for Pin-Up Girl.

I'm pretty sure this IS my final order from Twilight Time.

Following up on this. Got my order with some empty cases. Yes, they are the same as what TT use(d): Viva Elite clear single with no blu-ray logo.

Just to update from my shipping email from TT, all 31 titles ordered (May 12th order date) have been shipped. I guess about 50% are sold out (at least on TT's site) , but they have shipped including Broken Lance, Tom Sawyer and Sword of Sherwood Forest.

So Canada Customs unfortunately got their grubby hands on the box of 24 titles from Twilight Time. I'll go pick it up at the post office tomorrow.

Breakdown for my order is now:
$213.36USD for 24 titles
$77.52USD for USPS shipping
$58USD for customs fee (~$75CAD) **When I track it, it says only $24.78CAD is owed...**

Works out to an average of $14.54USD per title (~$18.90CAD).

´Great! #77... is on the way to its destination on 24 June, 2020 21:15.´

All 15 titles shipped, as they always stated all the weeks before. Well worth the wait, TT was very transparent regarding the delay and now I´m looking forward receiving my sadly most likely very last TT order ever.

Hope everyone will now also post positive feedback, not only those who were outraged because TT needed a little bit more time within a worldwide pandemic and a closing sale to fulfill all orders properly.

Yes I will post positive feedback. My May 12th order left Texas on Tuesday and is sitting next to me at work on the south coast in England. Very fast service from Fedex. All titles ordered were delivered as promised all along by TT. Like others I will miss TT titles of films we will never see again, most likely.
I look forward to watching titles in the coming weeks and to add my new acquisitions to my previous TT purchases ( including right at the beginning The Egyptian)
Thank you TT.

Started watching Wild in the Country, starring Elvis Presley. I didn't do any research on this title, but just snapped it up with other Elvis titles. Unfortunately, it is very poor quality, from an unrestored transfer, with a lot of print damage.

I see that a copy of "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" has just been listed on eBay, for anyone looking for it. Opening bid is just $9.99, so who knows, this may turn out to be a bargain, depending on how many bid on it. (Other copies listed run from about $80 to $180, so it would appear that this is one of the more desirable out-of-print titles.)

After over six weeks, my ten-title order from May 12th has finally shipped, with no cancellations! Now to see how it goes, this being my first order since the beginning of the current situation.
By the way, has there been any word from TT on when they'll announce the sold-out titles they supposedly found between the couch cushions? I'm locked and loaded to try and pick some of those up, so I don't have to scour Amazon and e-bay for as many items.

"More details including a list of titles and when they will be available will be announced later this month," is the first and last (so far) mention they've made of it in their newsletter from June 15th.

My May 11th order is still "Awaiting Shipment".

I have 11 titles on order from May 11th, "awaiting shipment". I wonder how many of them I will actually get. Not in any hurry since I have a stack of unwatched TT titles to choose from, but would like to get closure on this as it's been about 7 weeks now.
