So here's the final update on the TT artwork:

I've been corresponding with Twilight Time since May 29th in an effort to have them release all of their Blu-ray cover artwork. I would have loved to see them release all their booklets as well. I approached the effort sincerely and from every angle - tribute, preservation, and offering to do all the work for them.

In the end, they reactivated all the product pages that were already on their website, and then made them publicly listed when I pointed out that they weren't. While many of TT's releases are on the site, 49 releases are missing. And of the releases that are on the site, 109 of them don't have "high res" artwork (by TT's definition of "high res"). Also, not all of them have the complete set of front, back, and booklet front art.

While the outcome was not what I was hoping for - surely all of TT's artwork is sitting on a hard drive somewhere, just waiting to be lost forever instead of being preserved - I created one big zip file of TT's site as a convenient download for those interested. Please don't everyone download this at once, it's not going anywhere!

Included in this zip, as they currently appear on the site:
- 333 product pages and 974 images
- 831 news pages and 1,585 images
- 90 non-TT product pages and 174 images

The pages are saved as basic HTML only for the content - once TT's site goes down, they will lose their formatting. Product reviews are not included since those get loaded by JavaScript.

Has Screen Archives set a date for when they would make an announcement about their plans for the Twilight Time assets they've acquired?

Hey y'all, I've posted a couple times about Beyond Video, the non-profit video-rental library I co-own here in Baltimore. Our collection of ~16,500 movies and counting (roughly 13,000 unique dvds and 3500 unique blus) was crowdsourced.

Using donation money, I ordered a few dozen TT titles in their close-out sale, the faced-out pics here (which finally arrived this weeks after waiting two months lol). We'd already offered our members many others (the pics with piles of spines).

We're hoping to keep adding to our TT offerings, so if anyone has an extra copy of one we don't own that they can spare, no pressure at all but much obliged.

I made a wish list of the TT titles we're still looking for here.

Hmm those pics got more compressed than I expected, there's a better view here.

I don't think any further announcement is expected, since the update as written on their site, below, pretty much covers it. I'd assume their "plans" are basically selling the items on their site - with no hurry to do so, I wouldn't expect a price drop. I might not even expect to see an update once they acquire TT's stock, since I don't think it's adding any items to their inventory that they don't already have. It will also probably still be some time before TT finishes shipping all orders and then arranges to have the remaining stock sent to SAE.

6/1-6/30 - between 7/9 and 7/16
7/1-7/6 - between 7/15 and TBD

What plans?

At least as far as TT titles, they received 12000 units of 40 titles they already carried so I'll assume they'll just go into the pile with the rest of the inventory they already had,

The acquisition is likely to be invisible to the customer since we have no idea of SAE inventory numbers anyway. They go from showing more than 50 units of 192 titles under their TT filter to 50 units of 192 titles under the TT filter

I thought they had hinted at some kind of announcement of something. I assumed that would be something besides just selling off existing inventory, but maybe I was reading too much into it.

I only clicked on about 20 titles in the TT site until I got fedup with the low resolution garbage of what are bastically thumbnails.

Can you point out or provide a single link to one release that meets the TT standard of "high rez" so I know if I should just cry in the corner?

You're running into the peculiarities of the ecommerce platform - when you click the images to go into gallery mode, it's not actually showing you the highest resolution. Which is another reason I decided to just make a big zip download for everyone.

The "high resolution" images are typically either 989px or 1000px wide.

Finally received my Manhattan Murder Mystery from SAE, it was mailed almost two months ago. In a small padded envelope, which apparently took a month longer than bigger parcels. Happy that it's finally here.

This means my copy of Captain from Castile I ordered on the 3rd should be shipping out in the next few days. Not that I am in any super hurry.
