If you can't afford a TT title, or don't want to pay that price, move on and get a life. This thread should be for discussing the movies, not complaining and whining. Enough already.

TT is a great little company putting out a high quality premium product. Buying TT titles not only gets you the movies themselves in the best quality possible, but also supports the studios that TT works with to restore more classic titles.

Back to our regular program. What titles that are coming up are you most looking forward to?

For me, it's the bizarre color noir Leave Her to Heaven. This film was a smash hit in 1945, and fairly unforgettable to all who've seen it....

I'm looking forward to the Song of Bernadette, i've only heard about about similar religious figures of the same story but not this one. And sometime 20 years ago i remember seeing a movie like this one, but I can't recall if it's that.

Leave Her to Heaven is another one I'm excited about after watching the trailer, love those movies from the 40's.

What's really ridiculous is the number of people who can't spell ridiculous.

Nicholas and Alexandra is an almost David Lean-like production. Epic and tragic. Wonderful production values. Saw it a year or so ago....

It's the only one coming up that is tempting me, not a lot but a bit. I doubt it will go "sold out" rather quickly as it's not a title that most people will want. I might get it a little futher down the road.

I am rather lucky since I am mostly interested in titles that "the mob" as no interest for in general. Stuff like Philadelphia, As Good As It Get, Steel Magnolias and most of their horror releases really don't interest me at all.

Would that be like before, for the first 100 orders only? Or for free if you purchase $XXX amount of TT product? Or via some kind of random draw? Or only if you show up at a special screening in L.A. with Keith Gordon in attendance?

February 15th at 4:00pm EST could get rather 'interesting'...again.
Oh ****ing hell...

If it's not a screening, and it's similar to what happened with Journey To The Center Of The Earth, then it's a good thing I asked off on Friday. It could very well be ridiculous...

The weird thing is MTRodaba2468, I couldn't find any response to that off-the-cuff announcement, and now I can't find it all on their FB wall. Recalling all the drama over those 100 Pat Boone signed Journey Blu-rays, I'd have thought posters would have been all over them for more details...

Hard Times. Charles Bronson bare knuckle fighting, great stuff. I can finally ditch my crappy old P&S DVD, thanks TT!

Sad to say, I seem to recall I first saw Hard Times (as The Streetfighter) back when it was first released, 19 seventy something

Another 'signing' that slipped under the radar: in Santa Monica the weekend of the Blue Lagoon release they had both a screening and a signing by Randal Kleiser and actor Christopher Atkins on Dec 12th at the Aero Theater.

It was mentioned only on the Facebook page of one of the two American Cinematheque theaters in Los Angeles here:

https://www.facebook.com/events/450522705011771/

From that description there might very well be a handful of double autographed Blue Lagoon blus out there. I did not attend, nor heard of the turnout so who knows. Love it.

Looks like The Blue Lagoon, and As Good as it Gets are being released by Sony in Germany:

It'll be interesting to see if those releases will be region free or region locked.

Interesting! I'll be keeping an eye on those two, myself. Possibly region free? Yeah, that's cool.

I guess it would be cool if they include extras and are region free. Otherwise, not worth it as importing Blu-rays from Germany is VERY expensive.
