well the link wasn't in the box yet, but if you Google Screen Archives you will see the link for Twilight Time under the main heading. Click on that link and the 2 new bd pre-orders are at the top of the list on the TT page on the SAE site.
order placed!!
EDIT: now the links are in the box at the top of the page.

After ordering do they send out a confirmation email or just when it's shipped?

Picked up Leave Her To Heaven and The Song of Bernadette, two films I've been dying to see. This is the first time I've picked up anything from Twilight Time since Bell Book & Candle and Picnic. Can't wait for them!

So decided to order our man flint, in like flint and experiment in terror with Philadelphia. Decided against the fury. Would have liked to order leave her to heaven but decided to leave that for a future order, gets a bit pricey...

Is leave her to heaven likely to be a quick sellout? Or will I be able to order in a couple of months?

Did anyone else notice they duplicated the Twilight Time label numbers on the new preorders?

Leave Her to Heaven TWILIGHT47-BR
Philadelphia TWILIGHT46-BR

Major Dundee TWILIGHT47-BR
At Long Last Love TWILIGHT46-BR (just a guess on this one since it has been delayed, but this should have been its number based on where it fits)

Or am I the only one that pays attention to these things?

I posted this as well on Philadelphia's page, but does Screen Archives charge now for pre-orders or wait until ship?

They will pre-auth your card when you order, but not actually charge until they ship. If you use PayPal, you pay when you order.

Great news. Thank you for the response. I knew that about Pay-pal which is why I chose not to use them. But could not find Screen Archives pre-order policy in their FAQ.

I saw that as well, since I ordered Leave Her to Heaven and Major Dundee and was surprised they had the same label numbers.

Default Fewer than 50 copies remaining of The Egyptian blu-ray

If anyone is still on the fence about The Egyptian, you better get moving. I just got an email from SAE advertising today's Twilight Time pre-orders. At the bottom, it says fewer than 50 copies remain of The Egyptian blu-ray.

I pre-ordered Leave Her to Heaven. I have never bought anything from Twilight so hopefully I'll enjoy it.

I went back and forth on the Egyptian, but I wasn't a fan of Taylor's Cleopatra so I assume I won't enjoy Egyptian?

Thoughts?

With only 50 or less remaining, I finally pulled the trigger on The Egyptian. I have never seen it, but I knew I'd be kicking myself if I didn't get it before it sold out.

THE EGYPTIAN is not really comparable to Taylor's CLEOPATRA except that it's set in ancient Egypt. It's more of a philosophical story of one person seeking meaning and reason in his life against the backdrop of the controversial monotheistic Pharaoh Akhenaten's reign. As a film, it's not really all that great, mainly due to some uneven performances, but as historical spectacle it is Hollywood at its best (but without so much of the DeMille campiness, although that's occasionally there, too).

Basically if you like historical epics set in the ancient world and/or are interested in ancient Egypt, THE EGYPTIAN is a must-own, especially if you have a very large TV screen or a projector, which enhances enjoyment immeasurably for this film. The wide aspect ratio is beautifully composed throughout, and needs a big screen for its impact. Picture quality is truly outstanding on the Blu-ray and the stereo soundtrack is also very good. There's also an audio commentary worth listening to, besides the isolated score.

Here's what it looks like on my basement theatre screen:
