I'm so glad to see that First Men In The Moon will be released. I only wish we didn't have to wait so long. Hopefully bluray is still the medium of choice by then. (half joking)

Much as I hate Twilight Time, guess it's time to bite the bullet and order Leave Her to Heaven.

And you will need a powerful PC because their server crashes on the first day of a pre-order

I'm watched Leave Her to Heaven just got my BLU Friday and you won't be disappointed. Even with the original negative long destroyed/lost the transfer is so incredible on my 50" that Fox should have released it in a Digibook. (No offense to TT) great release and Im shocked it isn't sold out, this title will fetch good prices once sold out IMO.

Also, I should add that Bye Bye Birdie is at 259, but that one's been under 500 for months without any special announcement from SAE, so SAE must not have started with the full 3000 initially. The counts for the other three are much more likely to be accurate.
I doubt Major Dundee and Leave Her to Heaven are that close to selling out, either. Like Bye Bye Birdie, they probably don't have the full amount of 3000 copies on hand/in stock.

Our Man Flint is possible. I'd also guess that Enemy Mine, The Fury, and Blue Lagoon are closer to selling out than the aforementioned titles.

I hate these really long release dates, but I am glad it's going to be released.

Anyone know the totals for Steel Magnolias? I see 407 on Amazon, but not sure about SAE.

I'm finally going to order it when I pre-order Body Double. I'm not worried about it selling out, I'm just curious.

I know rdodolak has the combined numbers, but thanks for the heads up on those (although I do have those already)...

Is there any way to log onto the product website and just see the TT exclusives? I find it difficult wading thru all the other releases.

Over at the HTF, TT have basically confirmed that they have a deal with MGM/UA. They're looking at licensing about 40 titles and they recently sat down to check the quality of the remasters, which they require to match the standards they set for their Fox releases. They say a few they wanted to release don't pass muster but that they have more than enough releasable material to take them through 2014.

The good news keeps coming Plenty of good MGM/UA titles to get excited about here. I appreciate that TT won't just go with whatever source materials are available. Sometimes it's best to just skip those and focus on the material that's in the best condition, even if it means one of your favorite titles won't make it out.

So doesn't a title like The Land That Time Forgot seem like a good candidate to anyone else?

Guilty pleasure and the DVD looks good, so the materials should be up to standard.

Where do you go to see the amount of copies remaining? I didn't see it on the screen archives site.

Thanks!

I wonder if they struck the same deal to release no more than 3000 copies?

I'm looking forward to seeing what materialises out of the MGM deal. They have the rights to a plethora of titles I want, ranging from King Vidor's Duel in the Sun to Ken Russell's The Music Lovers to foreign-language fare from Bergman and Truffaut.
