While watching Beloved Infidel, I kept picturing a certain statue against those rocks.
As in Fitzgerald's life, those scenes in Beloved Infidel were set in Malibu, presumably with locations and plates shot there. And it's a matter of record that the location for the final scenes in Planet of the Apes was Malibu beach. So 'smoking gun' there oildude.

I have every intention of getting Used Cars, Bring Me The Head... and The Blob.

I hope that those are a taste of how exciting next years slate will be!

Can anyone from the UK give an idea of how long orders from SAE take to reach the UK by registered mail?

So when do we begin speculating and discussing what MGM/UA titles Twilight Time has up their sleeve? Personally, I'm very excited about this development and hope to see some of my favorite films from that catalog. Anyone else think we may finally see Electric Dreams be released?

My most wanted MGM is probably this one. I think that it 'fits' TT as well so there's a good chance

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! Ed emailed me this morning that they were sending a replacement case and replacement outer sleeve for my copy of The Driver. That was a quick response (I sent the email late on Friday afternoon, so allowing for weekend.), and I'm pleased with SAE.

My top four. Twilight has stated they were trying to get Lion in Winter. The others received positive responses

I've been wanting for somebody...anybody...to put this out on Blu-ray, or even on DVD.

Not sure what the licensing dynamics are that would put this in the hands of Twilight Time, Olive Films, or another distributor, but I'm tired of my "unofficial" DVD-R with the VHS transfer that I bought online about a decade ago. The movie deserves a cool treatment.

+1000! Perfect candidate for a Criterion release (or Twilight Time). Hell of a tearjerker.

Lord of the Flies '90 is an MGM film, if I'm not mistaken. I would love to see that released by someone.

I'll play this game and pose a question: Does anyone know the rights status of THIS FILM (Sony released the DVD):

This is a TT candidate of a film if there ever was one (and isn't that interesting? TT is starting to get their own "feel" over their many releases ).

As long as we're talking about most wanted MGM releases, I'll go ahead and put in a plug for an old favorite ... Wrestling Ernest Hemingway. I don't know how to post a picture, so here's a link to the DVD:

http://www.amazon.com/Wrestling-Erne...nest+hemingway

Love this movie!

EDIT: Or is it MGM after all??? The studio shown on the cover is WB, but the studio listed in the "Product Details" is MGM. I don't know how that works.
