I don't care for musicals but Bye Bye Birdie is on HDNet right now and i can't help but watch it because the PQ is phenomenal. Wow. So much depth, detail and color. And this is broadcast. I wish i bought the bluray.

ETA: They haven't posted about it yet, but The Left Hand of God is gone from the TCM site as well, so apparently it is now completely sold out. And Body Double now has a limit of 1 per customer at SAE.

ETA #2: TT posted on FB that Body Double has fewer than 500 copies remaining.

Well, in my case my credit card info was potentially wrong so I didn't want my order (still listed as 'Pending') cancelled and miss out as a result.

Well I ordered another of The Egyptian before it went OOP and gave it to my brother as a gift...

Others may have wanted a copy of a movie and waited until the last minute to pull the trigger...

Now if you are talking about those cleaning up stock to sell for a premium on e-bay...

Interesting that Body Double sold out so fast. I understand Christine and the other titles but why would scalpers want so many copies of Body Double?
