as far as price--maybe 8 to $10 a piece.
Thanks.

I contacted him but need to give him a price. Would some title be worth more tan others?

I'm selling the following magnets

The Egyptian
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Pal Joey
Desiree
Cover Girl
Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines
Picnic
SAE magnet

You can check eBay. According to previous posts discussing this some time ago they apparently sell there. But of those you mentioned, I would guess that Journey to the Center of the Earth is likely the one worth the most, out of those you list.

If the "free" copy of The Disappearance is available this is what I plan to get with it: The Driver, Major Dundee, Hard Times and Our Man Flint .

I basically only use FB to get information about Blu-ray releases from the labels. Is there anything more annoying than going to TT's FB page and coming across a post from Bruce Pullen? No, I don't think anything else can be as annoying . Here's a tip Bruce...if you want to be credible you must be willing to be critical when it is justified...the constant pandering gets "old" very quickly. In fact, reading anything you post makes me NOT want to buy the release. Sorry but had to vent .

Great lineup Blu Titan. The Hill titles in particular were both among the highlights of my summer viewing. All 1st class discs too - Our Man Flint being the only one in the bunch which could be classified as a best recovery effort. I thought the extensive features plus Goldsmith isolated score more than compensated though.

Ditto. I still don't even have a Facebook account, which unfortunately limits how deep one can go on that site, so I just skim.

You're certainly entitled to that opinion, and you did qualify it as a vent, but expressing it here still seems rather small just the same, especially for a Mod. I mean, would any of us get away with something so directly personal about someone on another site who can't even speak for themselves here? Not that it would - or should - occur to anyone whose primary interests here are the films TT has chosen to showcase, and how well they've succeeded/not succeeded in doing so. Some of us just try to keep personalities out of this. After all, this is a public forum, and we're only here for the movies. That's just basic Netiquette.

FTR, after 2 years or so of repeated accusations that I was Bruce Pullen with no intervention by you or your peers, but more importantly, no responses by me to such nasty trolling, I actually finally did meet Bruce online via another forum. And guess what...he's a terrific guy, just another enthusiastic fan who gets what TT is up to and is really enjoying their output...not appreciably different than the 'core fans of other cottage labels...Criterion, Shout!, Olive, Arrow, MoC, you name it. I could point to dozens of posters on this site who show exactly the same level of enthusiasm for other labels who happen to be delivering what they want to see, how they want to see it. Sometimes their seemingly one-note praise annoys me too, but I understand the pot-kettle-black fanspace it's coming from, so you'd never catch me uttering a peep about it.

I guess I just don't understand your vent...or rather, even if there is a reason for it, the appropriateness of posting it in this thread instead of via private PM or a post on TT's FB wall...I've always considered you above that sort of thing. After all, I don't see Bruce going on about anyone here like that. In any case, it's not like this has any remote bearing on TT's products, their business, or their level of service. So I just don't get why you posted that. Is your implicit message that we're all potential targets for such insults simply because we happen to be unabashed fans of this label?

P. S. If you're serious about snagging a signed copy of The Disappearance for free, make sure the other titles are already in your cart before 4:00 pm EST Aug. 21st. That way, you only have to add the autographed copy, and you're on your way to checkout before others have finished loading up. This tactic has been working very well for me...haven't missed one yet (fingers-crossed).

Thanks for the tip. To get the free signed copy, one needs to order 4 or more TT titles (thereby crossing the $100 total sale mark with the 4th disc), correct?

Correct. 3 of TT's $34.95 titles will do the trick too onetet...the total just has to hit $100.00 before shipping/handling, however you choose to combine it.

Lately, SAE has been including a separate thumbnail and page for the autographed copy...you simply add it to your cart like any other title, but its price will register as $00.00.

Is it 100 dollars of specifically TT, or just 100 dollars at SAE?

I've always thought it was the latter, but the one time I did it I only bought TT titles. Just curious.

It has to be $100 of Twilight Time titles to qualify for the signed copy.

Drums Along the Mohawk (with Becoming John Ford), plus Alamo Bay. Here's the exact blurb from SAE:

Quote:
August 14th - New from TWILIGHT TIME DRUMS ALONG THE MOHAWK (1939) with the bonus feature BECOMING JOHN FORD (2007) and ALAMO BAY (1985). These will be available for PRE-ORDER on Wednesday August 21st at 4PM Eastern Time with a release date of September 10th. There will also be 150 signed copies of THE DISAPPEARANCE (1977) signed by Stuart Cooper available with qualifying purchases of $100 dollars or more before shipping of TWILIGHT TIME titles. This is limited to one copy per customer. There will be an autgraphed page built at the time for customers to use to add this item to your cart.
FWIW, these late month, mid-week pre-order dates are harder to keep track of. I think I preferred the mid-month Friday launches...just a little more predictable and easier to remember.

Guess The Fury will be one of the titles I add to my cart to get an autographed Disappearance.

Anyone have any recommendations on the others? I was thinking Experiment in Terror, Rapture and possibly Enemy Mine?
