I believe TT has already stated that Violent Saturday would be getting a bd upgrade.

This rumor is why I didn't bite buying the French BR when I saw it discounted in a store when I visited France this summer. I'm kicking myself a little, because even though I still don't have region-free capabilities, I'm getting to the breaking point of buying a region-free player and all the region-free discs I've desired. If TT holds out much longer, they'll lose this sale to Carlotta. I also REALLY like the cover on the Carlotta slipcover -- the action pops out so nicely.

Decided to get Mindwarp, Steel Magnolias and The Other. Will get Blue Lagoon when the Sinbad titles go up for pre-order.

Put my order in for "The Other", taking my chances with "Mindwarp" as I imagine this one won't be a day one sellout.

Anyway, picked up Mindwarp and the Dark Ride soundtrack. I've been wanting to get that soundtrack for about a month now but didn't want to spend the $5 just to ship a $6 soundtrack.

I did the same. Too many releases coming in and my budget won't allow it. I'll pay attention to this thread if it does sell out. I'd be surprised if it does.

Grabbed both Mindwarp and The Other along with the 2 Flint flicks. I can finally stop regretting selling my Mindwarp VHS years ago!

Maybe some of the people who are going around claiming that it will sellout in one day .

Yep, I had latent worries that these would sell out quickly, more likely for The Other IMHO since it's a horror than Mindwarp, despite the frenzied Bruce Campbell fans. But I stuck with my guns and decided these were going to be slow sellers and could wait until Oliver! next month. Seems I was right. What a relief.

Looks like the 2 new titles sold about 300 each today so far.

Not surprising. TT struck gold with Fright Night, NOTLD and Christine but IMHO they do not understand the horror genre at all. Horror fans are amongst the most passionate of collectors and will spend big bucks, but they look for certain "specifics" that neither The Other or Mindwarp have. I am not close to being a horror expert but my brother can sure hang with the best of them .

I'll probably would be willing to consider purchasing The Other but releasing Mindwarp at $35??? Ridiculous....it is a lower tier "B" horror/Sci Fi movie with very limited appeal.

I love The Omen so I think I'll order The Other next month, but Mindwarp...hmm probably not.

The Other will probably sell steadily, but Mindwarp is pretty much done for.
