You'll be sleeping that day and forget all about it Comet. Then you'll wake up and have to get this Sinbad instead.

I guess this will not go away. To be fair to Retablo, he has been a member here for a long time and has never been known to purposely post bad information. We present honest information in this site and nothing can be considered official unless it is released by the label .

In fact, several of their sold out titles have already been renewed.
Which titles have been renewed? And where's my Mysterious Island, if this is the case?

Mysterious Island came out Nov 2011, so even IF titles are renewed, it wouldn't be re-released for another year.

Hmmm, if they do re-release some of their early sell outs, I wonder if they will bother to re-author the discs to the current standards.

Let's be clear here: nobody has shown any evidence that any titles have actually been renewed yet.

Your guess is as good as mine; but given how they've released titles lately, my guess would be that they would release any new ones with chapters, subtitles, BD50s, and any extras that they could license.

I would also assume that it would also have to have new cover art in order to be a completely new edition because of the "limited to 3,000" thing. For this reason and the amount it might piss off people who bought in the first 3,000 run, I question whether they will ever relicense any title.

Actually, I would question whether they would ever relicense any of the films they've already produced simply because those running the company love films, and to me - from the various interviews linked to through this thread - it seems far more likely that they would want to produce as many all-new films as they can, so that more of the millions of buried films can see the light of day.

I think that's a definite possibility. It will be interesting to see what they do.

It would be nice if they did the same as they do with the soundtracks, release a secondary run of 1000 titles. But even if they did do another run of the full 3000, it think it's better to provide fans with a second opportunity to own the film on blu ray rather than worry about a handful of people who might complain that their "limited edition 3000" copy is not so limited anymore.

If there was ever a company that didn't appear to worry about their customer's potential complaints it would be TT.

I think by this point they've learned how to tune out all of the crazies. If only we could do the same...

There seem to be two things that can start an instant fight among blu-ray collectors:
1)Say "what's the point of slipcovers?"
2)Say the words "Twilight Time"

they're the BD equivalent of bringing up Israel-Palestine or abortion at a cocktail party.

I got my shipping notice for The Other! If you pre-ordered Mindwarp, it got delayed until next week due to some replication issue.

Just noticed there aren't any reviews up on the site yet for ALAMO BAY. That's a release I'd like to read a bit more about before deciding whether to pull the trigger.

From their Facebook: Just a heads-up that THE OTHER will begin shipping from SAE today -- MINDWARP however, encountered a brief delay at the replication stage and won't be ready for mailing until next Thursday or Friday (10th or 11th), so for those who ordered both the wait will be a little longer.

With honorable mention going to color timing: theatrical memory vs. DVD vs. Blu.

At least it's only a week.
