I don't know if this will help anyone, but I e-mailed Screen Archives regarding my order for Twilight Times's "Jane Eyre" blu ray, which I pre-ordered back on October 23. They e-mailed me back that I am in the queue and that they are pushing hundreds of them out as fast as they can. I honestly don't know what the situation is but I don't mind waiting a little longer.

All I know is I ordered all 3 titles the absolute second the pre-orders appeared on the screen, and my order still says "pending".
so clearly they don't ship by time of order.
maybe they draw names from a hat to determine shipping order.

it is what it is; I have hundreds of other bds that I haven't gotten to yet.

There may be a couple things in play based on past comments and my own experience with ordering through SAE. Orders with only one item seem to ship first (as mentioned earlie) followed by multi-title orders and then exports. It also seems like SAE ships orders from newest (later) to oldest (earlier).

Just received a shipping notice from TT for Jane Eyre, TWWW and Oliver! I ordered these on the 23rd of last month.

Finally got my shipping notice of Jane Eyre, TWWW and Oliver! I ordered these within the first few seconds the preorders went live. While I can't get too miffy because I have so many unwatched movies at this point, on a matter of principle I don't understand why they don't process orders in the order they were received.

I also received a shipping notice, but I don't like that others got theirs before mine. It's not a big deal per se, but a queue should be organised on a first come, first serve basis. I don't know how they shipped them out, but it certainly wasn't by when the blu-rays were purchased.

Drums Along the Mohawk

Haven't seen 4/5 of these, can't wait.

I found "Those Magnificent Men"..to be just alright. I was expecting a bit more in terms of whacky British humor. The PQ is reference quality. I replayed the second to last scene with the isolated score and it was very entertaining.

I would agree with that. It is a good film but not as entertaining as other blockbuster comedies of the era like IAMMMMW or The Great Race.

Ha, there's an already good region free release in the UK from Universal. Good luck on them selling that one, unless they can get the uncensored head being blown off.

Since it's an American release, I'd assume they'll go the extra mile to get a master with the uncensored material. PLus, the score will be isolated.

From what I recall, they used to be much more swift with their shipping, with lots of customers recieving their copies before release date. Not so much anymore.
