Well, wouldn't you know the day after I rant about the shipping is the day my Sinbads arrived.

I called the USPS this morning to find out where my package was. They looked it up on their system and told me it was scheduled to be delivered today. When I asked why it wasn't delivered to me directly after being in a Post Office only 30 miles away (for 3 days), they said something like they have main hubs that they operate out of, which is where my package was sent to to be processed. I might have the wording wrong, but that's the gist of it. I have never seen tracking like that, but will know better what to expect the next time I place an order. (Yes, there will be a next time ... hopefully many more next times).

Good you got it, and before Christmas! The tracking on mine was also hard to follow.

For next month's promo, it looks like they're going to have copies of Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger signed by Patrick Wayne.

I know it's been a frustration to most everyone, including myself, with the TT shipping. I do have to say, although I am annoyed, the final product (the Sinbad movies) are well worth the frustrations. The only complaint I have is in Golden Voyage where there is an extended scene with very poor image quality. I believe it's when Sinbad sees Koura on the shoreline before he jumps in the water to find him. The picture is worse than the dvd so I'm guessing it's not an original master issue. Otherwise the video and audio are excellent. Good luck to those who are still waiting. It will be worth the wait.

Just to torture myself further I went to USPS.com and it actually says out for delivery. Since I've got to be at work in an hour and so far no mailman in sight I won't be able to check out a few scenes of each disc. Hopefully they're not playing with my emotions with that out for delivery message because I would love to watch Golden Voyage when I get home from work.

Fingers crossed.

Thumbs up

Can someone kindly provide me the link on where to order these titles?

I believe it is:

http://www1.screenarchives.com/displ...TWILIGHT-TIME/

Sorry, I've never ordered a Twlight title before.

Also, how soon can one preorder a blu? I'm interested in purchasing Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia in March. I was very silly and sold my dvd copy about 4 or 5 years ago

Yes, that is the correct web address for ordering Twilight Time from Screen Archives. Usually preorders go up about three weeks before release date (if I remember correctly).

You can also get Twilight Time films from Turner Classic Movies Shop here: http://classic-movies.tcm.com/search...=twilight+time Thus far I've had bad experiences with them [one order cancelled without even contacting me to let me know it had been cancelled; the latest with sending the wrong one of the two Sinbad films], so I can't personally recommend them, but others have apparently had better luck with them. They are also about $5 more expensive at the TCM Shop, though if you have a coupon/promotion, you may end up with a better deal there.

Their shipping notifications link you to ups.com even if they don't use ups for your order. They sent my order by priority email, but linked me to ups. I only realized this when I double checked my email. This might be the case for others.

I do wonder what happened in the fall because SA was phenomenal to deal with up to then. I received every order within two days & customer service emails were returned promptly. I never knew about an Ed until I had problems last month and he sent me a terse "you're in the queue" email.

I wish all my orders came that way. Talk about instant gratification. The future is now!

TCM sent me the wrong one to. I ordered both and they shipped them separately. The one I received was suppose to be Golden Voyage, but I got Eye of the Tiger instead. Still waiting on the other one that is suppose to be Eye of the Tiger. What are the odds its Golden Voyage?

Received Body Double today from TCM so they must have found additional stock meaning it wasn't truly out of print.

Wow they really botched the handling of that title. God that flick was going for 100 when it first sold out.

Still showing as "in stock" on the TCM website....just ordered a copy. Curious to see if they actually have it.

A seller on Amazon (currently) has 13 copies of 'Body Double' available for $39.97:

http://www.amazon.com/Body-Double-Bl...=B00E5BQ9SW&m=

It's a 3rd party seller but fulfilled by Amazon. That generally means no sales tax and free shipping.

I've recently had a hankering to see more of Gene Tierney on Blu-ray. Anyone wanting to sell their Leave Her To Heaven Blu-ray, contact me.

Anyone want to comment on Royal Flash, I've never seen it. The cast and talent looks interesting, but I haven't seen much discussion of it.
