Which is why I'm wondering what difference it makes how big their overrun is, other than in an abstract curiosity sort of way. Regardless of how many extra copies (if any) they might have on hand of their OOP titles, it's not like anyone will be successful in getting TT to sell one to him.

Production costs for a boutique label would be held to a minimum or they're not making good business decisions. And it seems with their growth they have been making good ones.

Looks like The Golden Voyage of Sinbad is down to 400. I don't know why they haven't sounded the below 500 siren but I suggest that if you want it now is the time.

Honestly, what happens when whatever deal for whatever film expires and they haven't sold their 3,000 copies? Will they drop price when the deadline approaches on a film just so they can move whatever stock remains? Gotta know that if movies like "Philadelphia" or "Sleepless In Seattle" were in major chain stores like Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, ect. they probably would have surpassed 3,000 in sales by now, of course the price-point would be entirely lower had Sony actually put them in stores.

Supposedly their contract with sony requires them to destroy the remaining copies

I love the idea of Ed in a parking lot with a gas can and a match.

TCM shop has some as well, so the number might be higher.

I wonder how much they count the stock at TCM shop. For example, on TT's Facebook page, they say The Fury has sold out, yet TCM shop still has 5 copies

LOL they finally reappeared there. It hasn't been posted there since they screwed up and swapped the movies when sending them out.

Has anyone purchased the Cover Girl disc? I've wondered if it's as bad as most of the reviews indicate. The previous versions I have seen have not been stellar, but I doubt the movie will ever look as vibrant as it should. I've thought of upgrading from the dvd to the blu-ray, but $34.00 is a bit steep to bet on an allegedly iffy print with no extras.

The main thing I noticed is that it doesn't quite have that technicolor pop and is slightly dark, since it was mastered from a dupe. Colors are therefore more muted, especially the reds. It is still a worthy transfer, considering what was available to work with. I found that adjusting my display slightly, such as upping the brightness a bit and bumping up the reds, improved the image to my eye. This of course affected the flesh tones somewhat, but not to an unacceptable degree.

FYI to all, Cinemark will be showing Sleepless in Seatle in a few weeks. I haven't seen it in years, so I think I'll go. If I like it enough, I'll purchase the TT release

Looks like 375 copies of The Golden Vogage of Sinbad remain @ SAE and over 716 copies of Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. Not sure if TT has made any announcements regarding this?

Krull currently isn't on TT's radar.
