I put an order in for that and both Sinbads, I've been wanting it for a while but since it's almost gone I went ahead and put an order in.

Yes, Kino's Blu-ray of THE STRANGER looks fantastic.

I plan to order MAN IN THE DARK SOON and really look forward to the 3D. So far all of the 1950s 3D movies I've seen have drastically better 3D effects than the majority of today's 3D theatrical releases (except the digital cartoons). Since TT has Sony titles, maybe they can do MISS SADIE THOMPSON in 3D someday with the two 3D Three Stooges shorts as bonus features (just wishing).

Wonder if I should wait to order until the autographed ROYAL FLASH promo and get the rest of this week's new releases at the same time. I've already got ROYAL FLASH but if the autographed version doesn't sell out in a feeding frenzy I can always give the duplicate to a friend. Odd but interesting film that I remember seeing theatrically in a dollar theatre way back when.

Screen Archives has sent me the Complete Score CD of The Golden Voyage of Sinbad when I in fact ordered the Blu-ray.

Yeah, did that right away!

I think what's happened was I contacted them about adding another title to my pending order and when they (presumably) cancelled and reordered, simply selected the wrong 'Golden Voyage' item. Hopefully we can get this worked out.

I disagree. Dropped frames to the point of being distracting, dirt and scratches throughout and downright terrible audio in spots. Apparently there is a superior print available on DVD.

Yes, first thing I noticed in your pic before I even saw that you mentioned it. I've mentioned this elsewhere but it's funny that MGM is putting "MGM 90" stickers on all of their catalogue releases, when they don't actually own the rights to old MGM titles! So they're celebrating the 90 with United Artists titles!

You've gotta be kiddin' me. 30 bucks a pop, and they can't even provide a decent case?

Yeah Warner did the same, they issued a bunch of authentic MGM titles as part of their Anniversary while ignoring WB classics such as KLUTE, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Does anybody know how many copies of Cover Girl are left? I want one, but I won't have a lot of fiscal wiggle room for a few weeks.

Are you kidding me?!? So it looks like I'll be holding my breath on all future purchases to see if the cover art winds up being ripped to sh*t or full of "impression" damage because of those pieces of junk.

Not kidding all 4 titles has front and back eco plastic cut outs. Mine came delivered MINT but that was in a box. I cringe if I order one title for a bubble mailer. They get damaged easily. It is a gamble for sure.

Just over 1200. Honestly, I think this will be available for a loooong time, so you don't need to worry.

Yeah, of the 9 Twilight Time titles I've ordered from SAE, two have had cases broken in the back. Oh, well, I hope they have more extra copies on hand to resolve discs that will arive broken or scratched heavily.

As part of my admirable quest to be the most obsessive-compulsive person on this site, I have recently decided to replace all of the eco-packs in my collection with solid Viva Elite Blu-ray cases. I ordered 100 Viva Elite single-disc cases for $43 from Discmakers last month and made some big strides, but I still have about 30 or so left to replace. My beloved individual Blu-rays of the James Bond films deserve so much better than those godawful eco-packs, as do the Blu-rays of films like The Maltese Falcon, Laura, Sunset Boulevard, The Apartment, and Rio Bravo.

I guess that I'll have to be cognizant of my Viva Elite replacement supplies when ordering Twilight Time titles now.
