I would have to add Burt Lancaster to that list also. He is in quite a few recent blu-ray releases. He is not my favorite actor, yet he consistently stars in so many of the films on my most wanted blu-ray list - Go Tell the Spartans, Ulzana's Raid, Zulu Dawn, Twilight's Last Gleaming, Elmer Gantry, From Here to Eternity, The Train, Judgment at Nuremberg, plus a few others.

Absolutely ROclockCK...even in the UK with the release of "Touch of Evil". A film that I discovered, thanks to MoC. One of his finest roles and one of Welles's greatest acting/directing efforts of his career.

[QUOTE=ROclockCK;5974301]All of the Lewis titles were in my Amazon queue Joe, but I've since removed every single one. At this quality level, I could justify buying these Blus in $12.00 to $15.00 range but not at $20 +.
QUOTE] I have all of the Jerry Lewis titles in my price tracker here on Blu-ray.com in the 10 to 12 dollar price range. Perhaps in a year or so they may drop to that price, then I will bite.. with the reviews we are seeing, I cannot justify 20 bucks. (Btw, The Price Tracker can save you money if you are patient.) |

Okay, but the comparison with Olive is done. Let's change the subject, otherwise the Mods will be on us with the old electronic scissors.
![]() In that regard, has anyone seen the cover art for The Big Heat yet? Although this revival poster is an interesting interpretation, I hope TT stays more period in feel. Last edited by ROclockCK; 03-31-2012 at 11:33 PM. |

No one is forcing you to buy their merchandise. The limitation of some of their merchandise does not constitute a restriction of free trade or a violation of the RICO act, in my opinion. If you don't like the idea of limited runs, don't buy the product. It is as simple as that. When it comes to the free market, there is nothing wrong with what Twilight Time is doing, in my opinion. |

Long time lurker, first time poster. I appreciate what Twilight Time is doing, and I would love to see them release a good Blu-ray version of BARABBAS, one of my favorite Biblical epics. I watched the DVD today, it's in bad need of an upgrade.

Barabbas is a Columbia title, so it's no doubt on the table now. But since this was a Super Technirama 70 production, I guess it's just a question of the condition of its large format elements and what work has already been done on them. I haven't seen this movie since its original theatrical release, but recall liking it. As a kid, I was especially impressed by the 'real' total eclipse of the sun captured during a key scene. |

I would have loved to have seen BARABBAS on the big screen. The eclipse during the Crucifixion sequence is very impressive. It made quite an impression on me when I used to watch this movie on UHF reruns in the early eighties. It also has fantastic performances from Anthony Quinn, Jack Palance and Vittorio Gassman. It would be nice if Columbia has some presentable materials on this, the DVD looks pretty bad on a front projector. The trailer actually had better color and more detail than the main feature. |
