I got a faulty Major Dundee disc. It's the extended cut disc. Freezes up about an hour in. Disc looks fine, with just a few minor scratches. Anyhow, does anyone have a contact address for possible replacement? I don't know who to contact. It's been about 6 months since I got it from SA.

Does The SAE site always send out shipping notices before actually shipping items I ordered Bell Book and Candle on Sunday and my order still says pending.
for people who have watched the movie Beloved Infidel I have been discovering some Deborah Kerr films recently and find that she is a highly underrated actress and I wondering if that would be a good one to add to my collection or not ?? |

I've become a TT completist, until they release something that makes me go wtf lol... Wait Mindwarp! (I haven't ordered that tittle yet but probably will later on.
I placed another order today trying to catch up on titles. I ESP love their Fox CinemaScope blus. I called seeing if they could combine my preorder of this weeks releases with my new order but sadly they aren't able computer order wise. I was told they are working as fast as they can ESP since bad weather could cause shipping issues. I will just have more titles to look forward to later on. Hoping this weeks releases ship soon, hoping for a Saturday delivery cause Monday is a holiday :-( I know most get frustrated with shipping sometimes, and I'm guilty also. I think now with 4-5 TT titles a month It will make it harder to ship faster. I've been ordering film scores from SAE for so long that I really can't bad mouth them. I know some feel differently but they have always been understanding whenever I've had a shipping issue etc. I just wish I loved in VA I would volunteer to intern and help ship the monthly TT orders! |

I mean, I don't have a problem with other people wanting them, but they're just not my thing. |

![]() It's probably middle-rank Kerr: she's good in it, but the film has more than its fair share of detractors among F. Scott Fitzgerald's fans, as much because of their dislike for the woman she plays as the film itself. Despite its low reputation among devotees of the author, it's a surprisingly decent attempt to turn a self-destructive F. Scott Fitzgerald’s affair with gossip columnist Sheila Graham into a glossy CinemaScope love story in the 20th Century Fox house style of the Fifties. Not that it’s going for pure soap, with undervalued and unfairly forgotten A-list director Henry King seemingly using A Star is Born for his template, with his screenwriting career failing because he can’t adapt his style to the screen while his books fall out of favour – he can’t even find a copy of his book to buy her. The comparisons are particularly pronounced in scenes where Gregory Peck’s down on his luck author drunkenly barges in on a rehearsal for a radio broadcast and just keeps on making things worse or when he drunkenly insults an admirer on a plane while Deborah Kerr’s would-be muse sits cringing in embarrassment. Elsewhere, it draws parallels with the author’s own work as he falls for a woman who, like Jay Gatsby, has reinvented her humble origins but can’t forget them. For all his stolid reputation, Peck was always interested in challenging his screen image and even though he’s one of the least likely casting choices imaginable for Fitzgerald, he’s clearly relishing the opportunity to cut loose in the second half of the picture with the occasional homicidal drunken rage. Kerr’s more obviously in her usual comfort zone, worrying, trying to manage a deteriorating situation and suffering as required. King’s direction is polished and intelligent, pulling off a couple of nice moments such as their first meeting being played entirely by subtle eye contact or a nightmarish tableaux giving way to a suddenly empty room near the end of the film, though this being a 50s Fox film, the Love is a Man Splendored Thingish final scene where memories give way to a title song that really struggles to find rhymes with Infidel (the most awkward aspect of an excellent Franz Waxman score) is more likely to provoke smirks than tears. It’s not the enduring classic it clearly wants to be, but it’s still a much better melodrama than its detractors might claim. |

My order has not shipped as many of others have not. This has happened before on some other orders, but as I remember correctly, they did ship by street date. This order has now not shipped by street date, which is very disappointing for releases that cost $35+ each. I know the weather sucks in Va, which is where they ship out from, but frankly, this is not good business and unfortunately has seemed to become the norm at TT lately. Just my 2 cents, but I know many others feel the same. It's too bad that their business cannot run properly, as it seemed to in years past. They seem to be more interested in posting and responding on Facebook then they do in taking care of their paying customers, but I guess they are not the only company doing this too. Hopefully these releases were worth the wait....
