Mine usually come in a puffy envelope. But generally I only buy 2 at the most at a time. They may put multiple titles in a box.

1 disc is wrapped in bubble wrap and then shipped in a bubble mailer. For example, I received Zulu in its eco case, and it arrived perfectly.

If you have any special requests, you can fill out the special request box on the check out page.

Not if it's a Sony- or MGM-licensed title.

I just placed my first TT order a few weeks ago of 3 titles. Didn't know anything about the freebie and didn't see anything on the website about it. When and where are these announced? And does this happen every month?

Yes, it seems to be happening every month now. They offer the signed freebie at the point that they start taking pre-orders for the following month's titles. So, for example, yesterday they were taking pre-orders for the March titles, and offered the signed copies of The Driver (first come, first served, for those ordering more than $100 -- not including shipping). They typically go very quickly. I think all of the signed copies of The Driver were gone in something like 7 minutes.

The pre-order date is typically three weeks or so prior to the shipping date. When there's a firm date, it's announced on their Facebook page, and someone will mention it here. At the same time, they'll announce what the signed freebie will be. I would expect the March pre-order date for the April titles to be March 19 or thereabouts.

I get all my info on this forum. (Don't know whether my wallet thinks that's a good thing or a bad thing.)

Thanks guys, guess I will just start following this thread more closely. Hoping the signed freebie is a good one next month, as I plan on pre-ordering at least 3 of the April releases.

Is there a place to see how many copies are left of certain movies? I used to get an email that told me when certain movies were getting low, but I haven't gotten any lately. wasn't sure if there was another way to see besides just checking this thread.

Same here. I don't want to take part in the pre-order feeding frenzy, but next month I'm feeling a bit concerned that Wild at Heart and Used Cars might go really quickly.

I don't feel compelled to go for the signed freebies, but if it's a title I'm really interested in, I might go for it. On the other hand, the TT titles that I'm most interested in are the older titles for which it's unlikely that there's still someone around to do the signing.

I'm going off my direct asking of the Twilight Time guys on FB. The cart game is ruined, so that's the only accurate way AFAIK to get a legit answer.

the cart game was stupid to take away. I always get the notifications of the amount left Days sometimes WEEKS after they supposedly send it out. their mail server sucks at SAE

I received my order of ROYAL FLASH (SIGNED), THE FRONT, THE BLUE MAX,THE EDDY DUCHIN STORY, and THUNDERBOLT AND LIGHTFOOT today. I ordered when pre-orders went on sale. They are now using packing peanuts and they wrap the blu-rays in bubble wrap. The order went out on Tuesday.

Does anywhere else allow for the preorder of Twilight Time movies aside from Screen Archives Entertainment? I cancelled my pre-orders from yesterday after a conversation today on my lunch break with an SAE staff member.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can purchase them from Screen Archives through Amazon, or you can go to TCM Shop here. Those are your only options, unless you purchase them from a third party.

thanks yojimbo! I'll pay the upcharge at TCM.

one more question, for fast movers (like NotLD or Christine), is TCM a 4pm preorder or is it set up later?

You also may want to keep in mind problems others have had with TCM. [I'm not the only one.]

First time I ordered Twilight Time from TCM my order was cancelled (I presume because they ran out, despite me getting an initial confirmation). They didn't even e-mail me to tell me it had been cancelled.

Second time I ordered Twilight Time from them were the Sinbad films. I was getting three as gifts. They had their SKU numbers mixed up, so I got three copies of Eye of the Tiger, when I'd ordered three Golden Voyages. They STILL have not fixed this (and now Golden Voyage is sold out).

So: be warned. Not all is smooth at TCM.

SAE has double billed, and now sent an order after cancellation and today, customer service experience... I wish TT would release through themselves or set up their own small yahoo shop.

Without going into too much detail, I've also had several problems with TCM shop. I'm not one to write a company and complain either, but their service is awful. I waited a month before I received any of my pre-orders and only because I complained did they ship part of my order. Plus their packaging is terrible.
