I had that kind of luck over a year ago. Screen Archives have seriously gone downhill since then. 10 dollars shipping for one disc in stock (for example), and it sits there pending for more than a week is a foutage de gueule (taking the p*ss).

Let's not forget that with TT upping the number of releases, the service is going to get worse, but the shipping costs for the customer stays the same. TT and SAE need to adapt, yesterday.

I emailed them and they said my order would ship as soon as the autographed copies of The Driver arrive. No mention was made last Wednesday that the free autographed copies were not in stock with that $100 deal they were having. At least shoot us an email.

The biggest issue I have with TT is the lack of communication. They are horrible about letting their customers know ANYTHING.

You'd think that communicating with people and the internet are a perfect match. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case for everyone.

Let's face it, SAE are under staffed. When, if ever, will something be done ?

Got my copy of THE BLUE MAX and MAN IN THE DARK today.

I'm generally pleased with SAE's shipping ONCE they FINALLY ship your order. It's just getting that order to start moving that's been an issue recently.

I know people stress-out about padded envelopes but EVERY SAE order I've placed (about a dozen) since FRIGHT NIGHT in 2011 has come in a padded envelope. I've never had a boxed order...I've never ordered more than two discs at one time. I was concerned this time because MAN IN THE DARK is in a dreaded eco-case.

Fortunately, as always, the order reached me here in Canada in perfect condition. I obviously haven't watched them yet but, when a new BD arrives, I hold it up to the light and inspect the surface for any anomolies and these were flawless.

So people shouldn't be having strokes about the padded envelopes

Yep, that's my problem with them. If they shipped within 48 business hours, 10 dollars shipping for one disc wouldn't hurt so much.

I have a question about preorders, if I place a preorder for a title and a order for a already released order at the same time, do they wait to ship them together or will they ship the older disc now (or sometime soon)?

I'm not sure they are always telling the truth about this. They said the same thing regarding the autographed Royal Flash when I emailed them. If they were still "waiting" on the signed copies to arrive, how is it that people in this forum were already receiving their copies? Of course, I miraculously got a shipping notice later that day.

They will wait until the preordered item is released to ship both. If you want the already released item now, then you would need to create two separate orders.

Nope. They'll delete items from but not add items to an existing order. They'll tell you to either cancel the existing order and place an new order with all items or to place a new order with the new items only.
