Which is so weird. Always thought it was weird that you had to either call or email them to cancel an order. Most online retailers have a place to cancel an order if it isn't shipped. And when it's sometimes taking a week with them it can be tempting.

I bought a harmonica tonight
![]() It's a Swan 1248 Chromatic. Why am I telling you this? For this reason: Order placed through an eBay store at 8:05PM followed immediately by confirmation of the order and confirmation of payment by PayPal. At 9:24 PM, 79 minutes after ordering, I received email from the company in Jiangsu, China that my harmonica had shipped. Twilight Time needs to hire these guys! ![]() |

As I haven't checked in this thread for a while, I was horrified when I got my package today from SAE which included Khartoum in an ECO CASE! It was sent in a box and the insert was still in pretty bad shape. I felt insulted, having been a loyal customer for so long and paying good money (some say way too much) for a lot of titles over the years.
Has it been confirmed by them that they are quitting this bullshit with the eco cases or do the new titles still come with them? I have four upcoming titles I'm planning to buy from them between April-June and it would be good to know. |

Would an eco case really dissuade you from buying a blu-ray that you otherwise would?

No, but I would lower my expectations and quite honestly, dread the day they arrive in fear of the state the insert could be in. For 30 dollars a pop plus shipping, I think we deserve more than an eco case.

But I'm extremely concerned about the quality of packaging as a shipping vessel. Eco cases off no impact or pucture protection for BDs shipped in envelopes. For discs that are regularly shipped long distances, an Eco case has to be consideration. If I desperately wanted a movie, sure I'd take a chance. If I was on the fence about buying a film, then an Eco case could be a deal breaker. That being said Twilight Time has said they won't be used in the future and I take them at their word. My last shipment had MAN IN THE DARK in an Eco case and THE BLUE MAX in a standard case. |
