Thanks. Hope Garcia is still available then, otherwise I'll grab a European release.

Whatever you do, don't get the French release.

Incorrect. Also, this release will be from a old, but Lynch approved master. I understand that you're having problems with SAE at the moment, but there's no need to go making assumptions about how TT do their business.

Not sure what to say here. Lots of movies TT has gotten seem too "good/big/important/significant" to only release 3000 of them. So far we have two best picture winners, several best picture nominees, several cult favorites etc.

I guess the way to look at it is that a production run of 3000 Blus is better than no release at all. I am also hopeful that titles that sell out will find another release by TT or another distributor once TT's licence expires.

Fright Night and Christine more popular than Mulholland Dr? Maybe it is here because TT has already released them and everyone talks about them having sold out and what they can fetch on ebay. But those movies are not even remotely as popular as Mulholland Dr. when you venture outside this and other TT-related threads.

Mulholland Dr. simply has more sales potential than a 3000 limit would warrant and so is not a good match for TT. Frankly it deserves better, either by Universal themselves, or preferably, Criterion. This title has Criterion written all over it and I believe it hasn't been released yet because all the pieces for a Criterion release aren't in place yet. It's going to get a release, but for those who can't wait for that day there's always the import option.

That's where I'm at with it. The difference between a Twilight Time release v the current German blu would be nothing.

Does anyone know if the German Wild at Heart blu is the same as the oop uk one and Australian one? Transfer/5.1?

Can the Mulholland Drive topic be swapped to another thread? No offense but it isn't getting a TT release. (Or did I miss something?) I want it released on BLU also but I still believe it will be a Criterion US release so lets discuss it on that thread?

Agreed on my end. I'm done with the subject.

So to confirm, the next SAE TT preorder date is March 19th?

Yeah guys the mullholland drive talk is bothering me so much. Please refrain from posting any other title that isn't twilight time exclusive. I have a headache now just thinking about mullholland drive being discussed in a twilight time thread and I need to let you guys know my feelings about this.

What news are you looking for? If you're wondering about the release date and/or the pre-order date, the release date is May 13th. The pre-order date will probably be the third week of April, give or take.

If you're wondering what extra features it might have, nothing's been said.

Looking at the five March releases, it appears Conrack & Fever Pitch were first out of the Cinram warehouse; they now show as released on the SAE site while Alfredo Garcia, Equus & All the King's Men are still preorders.

Born Yesterday was on GET TV last week. It's a terrific film and Judy Holliday was just fantastic. I will definitely buy a copy when it is available.
