I'd consider buying Bonjour Tristesse, Beloved Infidel and maybe Steel Magnolias and Philadelphia in this sale.

Wow, to think I have 28 of those titles available, actually depressing to think of the Money I could have saved! I guess this is an even greater deal if you're "not" a hardcore collector who buys most of the titles, which I do.

Yeah I have 7 of them, just bought them last month too.

Well this softens up their business model a little. Just guess which movies will have trouble selling and wait for a sale. I plan to get a few on the list, but most of them are just too mediocre.

I'll buy Nicholas & Alexandra for that price. Remember watching it for the first time in a junior high world history class and really getting into pre-revolutionary Russian culture for a while. Also I really like Schaffner (POTA is in my all-time top 5) and wouldn't mind adding this to the collection.

For me personally, Bite the Bullet is a perfect example. I like this Western, I like the cast, the DVD from Columbia was Pan & Scan. BUT, I didn't like it enough to pay 34.95 + shipping for it. Now that TT will put it on sale for 24.95, I will finally purchase it. It was never a must own for me, but something I would buy if I felt the price was right. As of next Wednesday, it will be.

I also like Hard Times and The Driver, but I don't like them enough for 29.95. I definitely would have bought them at 19.95 however. Well before the time TT has another sale in 2-3 yrs (5th anniversary maybe?), I'm sure both of these will have sold out.

That's a pretty cool deal from Twilight Time.

I should watch Sexy Beast on my DVR to see if I should buy it or not (at the discount price).

Twilight Time titles had always been packaged in Viva Elite cases until recently. So it would appear the sub-contractor substituted eco cases for viva elite. Did they do this w/o Twilight Time's knowledge? Was Twilight Time not paying attention? Not a huge deal, but it appears to be sloppy business practice on both ends.
TT said in their original Facebook announcement that Cinram, their replicator, put the February titles in eco cases without asking them. They asked Cinram for non-eco cases in their March order; Cinram replied they didn't have enough because all U.S. case manufacturers have switched to eco cases. TT then placed an order for enough non-eco cases from China to cover the March titles, but that order was delayed in shipment to Cinram.

If you put TT titles in your cart before 4:00 pm on Wednesday, go over to the siteat 4:00 pm on Wednesday and add the promo of The Front, will your price actually be discounted on the special 36 titles once you go to check-out?

There are several titles in the sale list that are close to the top of my want list. This will help get up to the magic $100 to go for the signed copy of The Front (not that I expect I'll be fast enough to get one, but I can always try).

Well my copy of "Alfredo Garcia" is still "Pending" but I have a tracking number, assuming it shipped and they just didn't get around to changing the status.

Still kinda surprised "Sexy Beast" isn't sold out I thought it had a stronger cult following, not to mention Jonathan Glazer has the much hyped "Under the Skin" coming out soon.

I always thought it was a love it or hate it movie...with a lot of people hating it because
[Show spoiler]the most interesting character in the film dies well before the end
.

Ben Kingsley is super scary in this role. I think it is well worth the discounted price.

I have been holding off on a lot of titles like Philadelphia and Sleepless in Seattle; let alone other ones I do not already have on DVD. Kudos to TT for this promotion. Looks like I am going to spending a few hundred $ soon...

It likely would have been by now if not for the Film4 UK release that has been out for ages.

This sale might actually get me to buy Titus, but I really wish The Way We Were was on the list.

Here's a question...If I pre-order 2 or 3 of the April titles on Wednesday, and add some of the on-sale titles, will the entire shipment be pending until the April titles ship, or will they ship the sale titles right away (for relative values of "right away"), and send the pre-orders later?
