I grabbed pre-orders of Used Cars, Rita, and Wild At Heart, got a free copy of The Front, and went for the Flint films at the sale price.

Thanks! I ended up ordering it, I figure I'll never see it cheaper than $22 shipped, and I can always sell it if I don't care for it.

Looks like I got the signature! I was wanting to upgrade my DVD of The Front anyways, so getting it for "free" with the signature is just icing on the cake! Picked up several sale titles to qualify -- Sexy Beast, Blue Lagoon, Picnic, Love is a Many Splendored Thing, and Sleepless in Seattle. Can't wait to give 'em a spin!

The multiple cuts presented on the disc make for a strong package, too.
I can go either way with those types of films, which is making the decision tough. I am not a fan of blind buying. I did it for Rapture and Man in the Dark 3D. I'd call that a hit and miss, with the latter film being one I'll keep mostly as a classic 50s 3D demo disc.

Did you make sure to go over $100 dollars, not including shipping? Because if you bought 5 19.99 titles you won't get the free Front. You will be five cents short.

Would've been nice. I still can't even get the page to show up. Keeps freezing up: http://www.screenarchives.com/displa...TWILIGHT-TIME/

I'm about ready to just forget it. Had 8 titles in my cart, but i'm pretty frustrated now and might just say to he** with TT and SAE.

I'm crossing my fingers.
Is that going to get you the autographed copy. Total is supposed to be $100 before shipping. Your total should be $99.80.

Same here, they should have the site ready to handle a little bit of traffic on days like this.

LOST HORIZON
PONY SOLDIER
THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN

I've seen Swamp Water, The Sound and the Fury, and Pony Soldier from this list.

I'd highly recommend Swamp Water, a unique film with great atmosphere and many interesting characters. Pony Soldier was just passable. It has some lovely scenary and some decent action, but the dialogue and some of the acting is subpar (I'm glad I watched it on YouTube instead of buying it). The Sound and the Fury was quite dismal; characters played things way over the top for me. I didn't even finish it.

I'm not interested in The Only Game in Town, The Disappearance, or Lost Horizon (though I would love to the 1937 version come to Blu).

I will be purchasing High Time and Bonjour Tristesse during this sale.
