To be completely honest, I got it because I was already spending over $100 thanks to the discounted titles and it was free. I've never even seen the film.

Just ordered Used Cars only. Wonder if the people ordering now will have to wait forever for it to ship. Compared to those who pre-order a week before release.

With Used Cars, Wild at Heart and a Woody Allen pre-ordering at the same time that they offer a promo and launch their first-ever substantial sale that I'm aware of, this was probably their highest-traffic moment in some time.

There are several of the sale items on youtube, including Pony Soldier, The Sound and the Fury, Song of Bernadette, and The Wayward Bus. I watched all of these (or at least enough of them), to know if I wanted to own them (I passed on them all).

Some unexpected expenses came up, so I couldn't order as much as I would've liked without incurring The Wrath Of Wife. At any rate, I did pre-order Wild at Heart, and got three sale titles: Swamp Water, The Roots of Heaven, and Experiment in Terror.

I got it for the autograph. I have been able to get every autograph so far, and am trying to keep the streak alive. This one went pretty quick this time. Eventually, I am going to miss out on one.

Freebie. Never seen the film, no idea who Andrea Marcovicci is, and no interest in seeing any more Woody Allen stuff for reasons I won't get into in this thread.

But if I'm going to pick up a bunch of stuff with the cost of shipping to Canada and the current unfavourable exchange rate (with the possibility of $$$ customs charges on top of it), I might as well get a $30 value bonus on top of my $100+ purchase, and I would have added it to my cart unsigned.

And who knows, I might find it an interesting watch if I decide to watch it.

I wonder what life was like for them before TT came along, I can't imagine they would have ever been all that busy just selling CDs of movie scores.

I'll say! I had it in my cart but by the time I went through the Paypal process it kicked me out due to "inventory changes". In other words, by the time I went through Paypal the signed copy of The Front had already sold out. This was 4:02 P.M. EST when this happened. Was more than a little annoyed that something that was in my cart was removed.

Was able to pre-order Used Cars and Wild At Heart on one order along with Philadelphia, Sleepless In Seattle, and Bite The Bullet. The other order I placed was a catch-up cart I had made up for this The Front promotion. Got Crimes And Misdemeanors, Thunderbolt And Lightfoot, Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia, and The Picnic on this one. Really looking forward to this delivery; too bad The Front fell through though.
