My guess would be when the pre-orders go up this month for next month's new releases.

Huh? That movie is 20 years old. I hope they don't release the titles like Bullets that already are on blu-ray, region free, in the Nordic regions. Stick to the 70's & 80's films.

Miramax title, don't think that'll happen. Only new Allen's that could be coming from TT at the moment would be the UA/Orion ones.

Do you have any other titles in your order? They ship your entire order in one shipment, and if they're waiting on other titles, then you will have to wait on those to become available, too. I only ordered Wild at Heart, and I ordered it on March 31st.

Which would include (leaving out the ones already out on Blu from TT or MGM):

Take the Money and Run
Bananas
Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* *But Were Afraid to Ask
Love and Death
Interiors
Stardust Memories
A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy
Zelig
The Purple Rose of Cairo
Radio Days
September
Another Woman
Alice
Shadows and Fog

I suppose it's also possible that his first two TriStar films -- Husbands and Wives and Manhattan Murder Mystery -- could be licensed to TT.

I watched my Blu-ray of Bonjour Tristesse last night, and loved it. Otto Preminger's movies never cease to impress me, and, while I would not quite rank this one in the same league as Laura, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Angel Face, River of No Return, or Anatomy of a Murder, it's nonetheless a beautiful and luxuriously-paced film, despite its short running time. The French Riviera sequences, in all their Technicolor splendor, look great on this Twilight Time disc. Jean Seberg and Deborah Kerr are both fascinating to watch, and I like how the framing of the movie works to place one character or the other in prominent view, almost as though we are watching a baby bird become the center of attention by pushing another baby bird out of a nest.

Highly recommended!

I vaguely remember some scuttlebutt about Take the Money ending up with Criterion.

I'd happily buy any of the above titles; if they announced Interiors, Another Woman, Husbands and Wives or Love and Death I'd be

Oh, and by the way, I want to offer heartfelt thanks to those of you who recommended Rapture. What an amazing little film that is. Remarkable visuals, great performances and a really compelling story.

Interesting. It's not quite clear where the rights to that one lie. It was originally released by CRC (Cinema Releasing Company). MGM/UA released a bunch of CRC films on DVD (including TtMaR), but I don't know if they own the CRC catalog outright.

That sounds like the way to go to me.

Not sure how many Twilight Time titles are duplicated by overseas releases. I'm aware of a handful (Zulu, As Good as it Gets, Sleepless in Seattle, Body Double, Mysterious Island... maybe a few I'm forgetting). There are options to consider importing on a few of the titles. But it's probably not even 10%. Not sure someone can legitimately say "screw Twilight Time, I'm just going to import". So for one to come into this thread and make that claim, basically has to be trolling anyway...(not referring to you, but the poster you quoted).

I believe that SAE orders are shipped in reverse chronological order from when they were placed. So you should get yours last.

Mine was placed around 4:08pm on 3/19 so I should see a shipping confirmation shortly before yours (hopefully by Monday).

wow nice review I can't wait to get mine whenever it ships I also ordered Beloved Infidel. Deborah Kerr is always such a class act.

I also ordered The Wayward Bus because I have a feeling that one maybe good too. Anyone Have any Thoughts on The Wayward Bus ??

No other orders....just Wild at Heart. In the past I've usually had them ship around the same time as everyone else. This is the first time I'm just sitting in limbo.

Thanks for the info, although it kinda punishes the people that are on the ball as far as the pre-order.

I would've imagined that they would ship larger orders first. Since they charge one's card when they ship, the larger orders would generate more money right away.

Mine shows a pending status and no tracking number. But then, I also have three additional (sale) titles in addition to Wild at Heart.
