wow--Brannigan!
JW fans will obviously be thrilled to get a quality copy of JW's next to last film, even if it isn't considered a high point of his career. It's a different sort of role that's for sure.
Secret of Santa Vittoria got released in Germany I believe a couple of years ago, and looks pretty good. region a compatible also.
actually has a few user reviews/ratings.

Definitely in for Radio Days.

The Cukor film, the Kramer film, and the Ken Loach films sound good, too.

In a very very poor edition by the sounds of it. DVD quality 1080i image, lossy sound and so on. No way would Grover Crisp okay that, so presumably the TT disc will be far superior.

I'm interested in Radio Days, Born Yesterday, the British double feature and The Buddy Holly Story if the PQ is significantly better than the UK release.

I'm also interested in Violent Saturday but want to wait to see how it compares with the MoC release.

For thems what cares, the red titles are licensed from MGM, the blue titles from Sony, and the green one is from Fox. The Loach double-feature is from Channel Four Films, and Save Your Legs! is an Australian film.

It's interesting that the August slate is the first month without a Fox title.

Yeah, and Violent Saturday is there only because they were sitting on the DVD license. I wonder if it's a sign of things to come with Fox, but I don't mind because Fox has been releasing quite a bit on their own.

Would still like to see an increase in the number of Sony titles released per month. Basically, MGM is the one that has allowed TT to double their number of releases per month.

Wow, an Elvis Presley flick. Actually a fairly decent one. Original saw it as a sneak preview back in 1962,

Mine hasn't arrived yet and I'm in SoCal as well. I ordered about 2 hours after pre-orders went live on March 19th and the status at Screen Archives Entertainment still says "pending", possibly because I included Wild at Heart as well. I'm most likely going to sell the latter title unless the picture quality turns out to be a marked improvement over the import versions available.

This is only my second order from SAE (the first was for Crimes & Misdemeanors) and I can't say I'm thrilled to be paying what I consider very premium prices for pre-orders that seem to ship so lackadaisically, but I suppose as long as they're the only game in town for these Woody Allen releases that I have to play ball as far as getting one of my favorite director's works on Blu-ray.

Hey, Twilight Time, if you let Amazon distribute your releases, I'll promise not to complain about a $35-40 price tag for Stardust Memories, Deconstructing Harry, Interiors, Zelig, and The Purple Rose of Cairo. I'll even pay that price for lots of others, but there might be a grumble about cost here and there.

I will buy Violent Saturday from Eureka since I like to support them as much as possible, but I will definately get Radio Days.

And maybe one or two more, depending on reviews.

And lucky guys that already have got Broadway Danny Rose. Mine hasn't shipped yet. (Ordered a couple of hours after pre-orders went live) But I'm in no hurry anyways.

All the King's Men is one of Twilight Time's finest Blu-rays.

Most of the reviews suggest that All the King's Men is dated and overwrought by today's standards, but I was personally enthralled by the story, and I like how this movie sheds light on a different angle of classic-era film noir. The movie is done big and done right, and they certainly don't make them like they used to.

This Blu-ray does not have any supplements, aside from the isolated score and the informative booklet, but we don't need any. This is a great high definition presentation of a black-and-white film.

Highly recommended!

Sweet...that one is on my buy list. Of the upcoming releases, The Train and Rollerball are a must. Also, the Thunderbird movies .

Born Yesterday is a definite for me! I'll probably pick up All the King's Men then as well for a Broderick Crawford double feature.

I'll get Born Yesterday & Violent Saturday for sure, probably Radio Days too but I would've preferred Bananas, hope that one's coming up soon.
