The Autographed copies have always taken longer, in fact they may not even be there to ship out yet. I wish everyone would keep that in mind when putting those copies on their orders, that way you can be in the correct mindset that while you expect it on a certain week, add another week onto when the orders start shipping because chances are they don't have those autographed copies yet.

*** As I see autographed copies have started shipping to other forum members, so that isn't always the case****

Also there is always a lot of complaining that it is beyond release date etc I try to be in the mindset that these are soft release dates and while we all seem to love amazon Prime 2 Day shipping we need to be more patient on the TT releases. (Personally I understand the frustration if I were TT /SAE I would push out the expected release date by a full week as a buffer)

I think the frustration comes in where you have two identical orders, one placed the day the preorders go live, one placed on "release day," and the person who orders on release day gets their order a week before the one who preordered.

That's EXACTLY the problem.

I don't care if discs are late arriving from the pressing plant and the release is delayed.

I don't blame SAE if the post office goes into slow-motion after SAE ships my discs.

But the situation you describe is what happened with my last order. I pre-ordered a couple discs on the day pre-orders went live and got my shipping notice eights days AFTER other people ordered the same discs when released and reported receiving shipping notices.

Ultimately, I got the discs so I there was no real problem. It's just a simple question of fairness. When you stand in line for something, you should reasonably expect to be served before people who show up after you.

Yes, it ties into the film.

That was supposed to be today. The mailman rang the buzzer, said I had a package, I went down to get it, and it was something for my wife.

Did you track it again to see if it was out for delivery? I bet it will deliver Thursday then. Sometimes USPS estimates are off.

Nope, still says that the expected delivery is today, and that it's "in transit", though the last entry was yesterday saying it it left the sorting facility in VA.

It still might show up. Sometimes, I get USPS packages toward the end of the afternoon, even after getting regular mail delivery in the early afternoon.

I was just excited to get my first TT order, so it was disappointing when I didn't.

My package came in today.

Both Broadway Danny Rose and Wild At Heart came in the square blue cases, not the typical rounded ones from Twilight Time.

Luckily I have replacement cases.

They did mention something about having to import Chinese cases. Perhaps thats what they are. Can you post pics for all to see, please?

I had estimated delivery for this Monday and the tracking finally updated after no updates since last Saturday. Looks like I will get Used Cars tomorrow. Finally!

They are exactly like the ones Olive Films uses / used to use.

If you still need a picture, let me know!

Looks like there was an update this evening. It made it to a sorting facility here in NH. So...tomorrow, I guess (though it still says the expected delivery date is today).

Yes I think this is something new. I had to pick up my order at the P.O. because I wasn't home when they tried to deliver it. My order was for 4 titles so not sure if they do the SIG ReQ now due to pricing so packages aren't stolen.

Others can chime in to say how many titles they had on their order and if SIG was required.

I swapped my Wild at Heart square edge case with another (non-eco) in my collection (Forks over Knives) that is the same as the previous TT releases. Is there a site which sells the same exact cases as had been used by TT up till now? Not a big deal, but considering how consistent the spine art is on the TT movies, I'd just as soon have all the cases match.

My frustration is SAE lied to me, emphatically stating they don't do that when we all know they do.

I just got my shipping email for eight blus ordered last month. The tracking says the signature is required. It is scheduled to be delivered on Friday and I almost certainly won't be home. I guess it's pick it up Saturday at the PO.

Since I ship my stuff to the post office anyway (po box), I went in yesterday and signed for a shipment of 3 titles.
