But I think the thing with the promos had to do with when they were sent to SAE. SAE didn't get them until early April.

Just received my order yesterday of Used Cars along with the titles that were on sale. Funny thing, with all the fuss about the eco-cases from a few months back, one of the titles I ordered was the Kremlin Letter on DVD which came in an eco-case! Obviously not too many people who cared about such matters were buying the DVDs.

Yeah, but that sig will only bring the value down because you can't say it's "untouched". Ok, maybe that only applies to movie posters

I think for blu-rays it's "still in the shrink wrap" which is usually the only way you get top dollar. Also, you got it personalized so good luck if you decide to sell it unless you find a fan with the same name

That's true. If you just want an autograph so it's more valuable. I always get stuff personalized. I have no intention of selling them.

I can't speak for Blu-rays (or any video format), but inscriptions to specific, named individuals doesn't lower the value for books. I still got top dollar for my signed Stephen King first editions even though they were inscribed to me.
