Ed. Mr. Hobbs takes a Vacation just worked...so. Who Knows, the sale is in flux...!!
From what I can see right now, it seems to be working on already released TT titles, but not on preorders.

And they seem to be out of stock of BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA...

Nope...doesn't work on Thunderbirds are GO or Two Rode Together. Both released already.

I use yahoo mail and it doesn't go to my spam folder - it just never shows up.

So how can I "unsubscribe" to the subscription that I'm not getting in the first place in order to "re-subscribe" and start getting the emails?

Leave it to Screen Archives and they will find a way to make things difficult.

They must have changed it after the fact. It's still showing up in my orders, with the discount applied.

Worm, in the past, the codes did work on TT titles, as I have ordered some titles from them before with a discount. I guess TT told them not to discount or ELSE...
I used their discount once before. But I know even then, there were other titles that I wanted were IN-STOCK (i.e. not for pre-order), yet the discount didn't work on all of them. My guess is the ones that did work were some type of error or oversight.

Still probably worth checking out whenever the sales come around, because who knows they might glitch again in our favor.

Just confirmed it worked for "Hard Times". Also would have worked for Swamp Water, but I already had that one. Couldn't find Rollerball - guess they don't have stock for whatever reason? Definitely worth trying out the older Twilight Time releases, some will work with the code.

Shipping kind of kills it though unless you can reach $39.99. So you better get 2 Twilight Time titles, or find something else that isn't a ripoff. TCM prices are normally pretty terrible. I was able to find Wizard of Oz 3D for $19.99, and with 20% off that's $15.99. That's very solid, but I was a bit iffy if I wanted it. You really have to search just to find something reasonably priced on there.

Thanks for the link but that doesn't work, either. When I tried to unsubscribe, I got the following message:

The link works, even though you get that error message. I was able to re-sign up for the newsletter after clicking the link and providing my email address.

I'm just hoping it works

I was unable to get the 20% discount to apply to the Lady from Shanghai blu-ray on the TCM shop site (which is already on sale for $24.99); I called the customer service number and ordered it over the phone. Even the customer service representative had to manually apply the 20% discount, as the code wouldn't work on his end either. So it may be worth calling if there's a specific title you want but can't get the promo code to work for.

On 4/23, I preordered 4 titles and the free Garcia. As of today, I know its a holiday, but my order still has not shipped. In the past, I've not had pleasurable experiences with SAE, but 33 days since order and no shipping.

Should I call/email?

How many of you that preordered are still without shipping notifications?

Twilight Time mentioned they are working on a deal with another studio...wonder if it's Universal or Paramount? Disney also licensed out to Anchor Bay at one time, so maybe Disney live action

Ooooo Come on Disney. "Return to OZ" would be a fantastic fit for Twilight time and a film I'd scoop up immediately.

I'm hoping for Disney too since they basically don't bother releasing their live action output, be it either under the Disney brand or Touchstone or Hollywood Pictures. Of course I don't know how far along they are with getting their past films up to HD snuff since they released stuff like horrid looking Color Of Money disc just a few years back.

Yeah that would be the big question. In the case of Return to OZ I do know that a Digital HD file already exists and looks quite good considering it's age and relatively minor status in Disney movie history so the work for Twilight Time would be lessened compared to many other films.

If it's Disney, then I want "Something Wicked This Way Comes"!
