That´s the other movie in which he plays a cop.
I'm really not into westerns so I never really understood the big deal with Duke until I saw Brannigan. I could see Bronson in that role easily. I thought Wayne was awesome as a cop so I'll def check out McQ. I'm sure I'll dig that too.

Yup. I don't off-hand know if they have a specific day-of-the-month for making their announcements, like Criterion does. But it's usually early in the even-numbered months.

Yes, they tend to release two months of titles every two months, usually early in the given month. I believe last announcement happened on or around April 12, and there was a sense that it came a bit later than usual as there was one title in the bunch that hadn't yet been completely nailed down. I think we should see announcements soon... looking forward to them!

I suspect everyone champing at the bit to find out the October titles. Then we can be flooded with the inevitable questions asking what day The Blob can be pre-ordered.

So any guess of what will be announced? The Blob for sure. They indicated an old AIP Horror film or two would be coming this year, I say Theatre of Blood. Also, perhaps The Bride Wore Black since they also hinted that a Truffaut film is coming. And La Bamba?.

I'll definitely be picking that up assuming I don't get shut out--but I'm usually at my desk ready and waiting the moment pre-orders go up, assuming there are titles of interest to me that month, or a good promotion.

That said, I'll be even more intrigued to see what other titles are forthcoming. I'm a nut for obscure 60s and 70s cinema and my favorite TT releases thus far are Rapture, The Disappearance, and Hard Times... something along those lines would be fantastic.

They said "this coming week," which I would think means next week. But in any case, soon!

Nick & Nora deserve to be in more than 3000 homes, but if Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines has taken so long to hit that number, it is clear that I don't understand/can't accept apparent market realities or popular tastes.

I second that, I would really enjoy seeing The Thin Man series released in high definition ! ! !

I hope not - they'd likely just be releasing the same transfer as Arrow did, only without any extras. I'd much rather a Count Yorga double-feature.

Id like to have The Oblong Box / Scream and Scream Again myself
Or Premature Burial and X the Man with Xray Eyes...

there is always that lingering Price II set that Scream Factory could do

So far we know The Blob is coming, and I would assume Audrey Rose will also be coming this wave as well.

I hope they don't release any Price flicks, save those for some more Scream Collections. I would love to see the Count Yorga films though, since Scream doesn't seem to have much interest in them. Premature Burial is another classic I would to see get the Blu treatment!

I hope all of the above get released for September/October. It'll give me a break for a couple of months to order some back titles instead.

(Sorry, but these kind of films are not my thing.)
