Mill Creek is now releasing OOP Columbia/Sony titles, so once the license expires hopefully Mill Creek will get some of these

Did they specify that they would be horror? It seems strange not to release them in October if that's the case.

Twilight Time isn't getting the "A" titles anymore. Guess the studios are now realizing that older titles can still sell. Kino has gotten some "A" UA catalog titles (Oscar winner "Marty" "Witness for the Prosecution") (Also "Private Life of Sherlock Homes" The Children's Hour" "and "On the Beach") all titles which we thought would go to TT. Kino and has been announcing two new titles each week!

Really they said 12! That is fine by me even though they will be spread over several years I'd imagine.

We can thank Frank Tarzi for that, after leaving Olive for KINO.

+1. I'm wondering if all the scans are even done for these films yet. That's one reason they could be spread out.

Yes and there are no 3,000 limits. Plus we are getting the films much faster than when Twilight announced their UA/MGM deal last year! So far we've gotten very little UA titles made before 1970 - if this rate keeps up by the end of the year we could have the major UA library on blu-ray through Kino

Some titles I would have even though Criterion would want to release but I think they are all asking for certain titles and KINO just asked first. I will be interested to see the first batch of U.A. Kino titles look.

In fact, we were talking here about Harryhausen, and I had noticed when poking around earlier that Mill Creek is releasing a double feature disc of 20 Million Miles to Earth and It Came from Beneath the Sea.

Too bad, I would've traded all 6 of those 6 MGM titles just announced for a Bananas announcement.

Theyre mingling on Facebook today..its a good day to inquire
So that means we finally know they got the rights to both his Orion and UA movies.

And it still does no one any good to sit on them. What are we looking at, 2018 for HD Zelig?

Take the Money and Run is ABC owned, MGM only distributed their titles on DVD at one time. I think that agreement has lapsed. Sleeper has been out for quite a while.
