My copies of Radio Days and Born Yesterday shipped through TCM Shop over the weekend. Of course it's though DHL, so it takes about about 4 or 5 days to move 100 miles.

This whole deep-catalog release model from so-called "boutique" companies that license titles has effectively replaced those of the major studios, and they are providing us with a great wealth of Blu-rays we would otherwise never see. Be grateful for that and stop expending energy on being all huffy about Twilight's efforts to please a lot of people who missed getting these titles the first time out.

I wouldn't call it an FU. In regards to JOURNEY TO THE CENTER TO THE EARTH, TT went with what was the best Fox had to offer for that title at that time. It's not their fault that it sold out, which I'm guessing convinced those at Fox in charge of these things that a digital restoration was worth the doing. I can't blame TT for wanting to put it out on Blu-ray. They're probably expecting it to sell out again. I know I'll be buying it even though I bought the first one.

So will I. If I think about it, it seems stupid shelling out $60 on Journey to the Center of the Earth...but the first $30 is long forgotten, so it's not too painful.

Still waiting for the july releases to ship

I normally wouldn't care but Radio Days is holding up my entire order.....

Has anyone received a shipment notification through screen archives yet? just wondering if they've actually started shipping them

I've checked the order status online just now and noticed a tracking number there (Priority Mail) although the status is still "pending" and no shipping conf email yet.
