So on top of the 3,000 units, the $29.99 pricing and shipping through SAE we'd have another topic for the TT gripe society.

Some of the really classic Universal catalogue is terrific on Blu-ray. The classic monsters, ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT, PILLOW TALK...

Universal's worst problem seems to be with the 1980's and later.

I have read somewhere about the sold out TT titles and specifically how long they took to sell out. I have no idea where I read that but if someone knows where I read that, would you be so kind as to show me the way?

How embarrassing My short term memory is toast.

That UK R2 DVD is a Universal release, which is why I mentioned the film in my post.

There's a long list of movies I'd like to see on blu, but I'll start with In a Lonely Place. Anything else would just be getting greedy.

I bet we could find the meaning of life, if we Googled and researched long enough.

Glad to hear that there may be another studio added. Since I know Sony is a studio you have worked with, any possibility for The Last Dragon? I know there are quite a bit of fans dying for this to be released.

I second this wholeheartedly. This is my most wanted film on blu-ray. Seeing as Universal often releases films in Europe prior to North America I've been thinking that maybe Universal UK will release it seeing as it's a British-French co-production. But, Twilight Time would be great as well.

I almost hope they aren't. Golden Age movies are toward the top of my list, and I don't need to spend the money.

Well that sucks. I guess TT shouldn't even bother to get those titles now.

"The Reincarnation of Peter Proud." Jerry Goldsmith's score would sound amazing with a spruced up audio track. Unfortunately rights for this movie would be up in the air considering it never even got a DVD release and the last company I think that released it was Vestron on VHS.

Why can't they get WAB:2?

Internet rumor/wishful thinking.

Out of curiosity, what is your guess?

I'm still pretty confident it's Uni, since that's the only guess that make sense.

Taming of the Shrew (1967) would be nice. It's a Sony property.
